Territory Battles: Guide to Dark Side Hoth – Imperial Retaliation

SWGoH

Teased some months ago, now it is finally here – Dark Side version of Territory Battle on planet Hoth, named Imperial Retaliation.

The following is content publicly posted in a variety of forums that we cannot assure the accuracy of given the new Imperial Retaliation guild event begins today at 1 pm ET.

Mechanics of gameplay is similar to Light Side version (now called Rebel Assault), so expect filling platoons, fighting in combats with units and ships and deploying rest of your roster in the end.

SWGoH - Territory Battles Dark SideWe can enjoy six phases again (difficulty rising from 2* to 7*) but reworked. Instead of 45 stars, the Imperial Retaliation version has 48 stars possible and instead of 6 encounters the battles feature 4 encounters.

There are several special units, ships and teams required across a map. From oldies you need Darth Vader, General Veers and Snowtrooper.

Newbies include Colonel Starck, Imperial Probe Droid (IPD) and also Chimaera capital ship. Start working on Starck first, as he is needed to earn IPD shards later on.

As for teams, you need to have Empire, Bounty Hunters and also Troopers ready plus some other DS teams.

Of course, you will need a bunch of DS units for filling platoons. This time it can be easier to prepare as CG released exact requirements on official forums.

Rewards from special missions are IPD shards (in Phase 3) and GET currency (rest of phases) for which you can buy new toon Wampa in store.

Let’s go through each phase and its specifics, requirements and points needed to 1-star it.

Hey! Not sure if this is the same people that do the podcast but great job! My favourite swgoh podcast! Are you guys on discord?

  2. DS TB are pretty buggy at the moment (exploit, point bugs, no balance, … )
Did EA want to increase income from pack sales before the end of the year ?
