Welcome to the latest in our series of articles about the Transformers Earth Wars mobile game where we take a look at the best Power Cores for each TFEW bot. While our staff will never claim to have all of the answers for TFEW, we do our homework and test out each bot to ensure we are making only the best recommendations.

Huffer and Lockdown are a unique pair of special class bots. They have quite high DPS for their HP, but not as high as other bots that would traditionally be attacking. The mini laser is not aided by any core we currently have, but it does tell us that we should be using Huffer and Lockdown to attack and not just soak up damage. So which core fits best on these bots?

Best Power Core for Huffer & Lockdown:

Best Core: Attack Core – This is a very popular core on Huffer and Lockdown as they are more attack oriented tanks. They do not benefit as much from defensive upgrades and generally a buff to an attack is more beneficial to most bots than a buff to defense. Since Huffer and Lockdown’s high DPS means that they can actually be useful with attacking, unlike most tanky bots, they would benefit most significantly from having the attack core.
