Grand Arena Counters – 5v5

> NEW! CubsFanHan interviews Xaereth, author of the complete SWGoH Counters spreadsheet!

Like Territory Wars in Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes, the Grand Arena Championships allow players to place a defense and then, 24 hours later, attack their opponent’s defense. However, while Territory Wars includes two players facing off in head to head competition. Scoring is based on efficiency as the fewer attacks needed to beat your enemy’s team, and the more effective your win is, the more points you score.

The 5v5 portion of the Grand Arena Championships are really no different than Territory Wars or the Squad Arena other than the need for survivability. In the GAC, losing characters, even one, can be the difference in a win or a loss. Meanwhile in Territory Wars, a loss of a character or two is less impactful than the GAC, and the Arena is a win or lose only situation. Players use similar strategies in the GAC as other areas of the game and ships were playable in one territory of the old Grand Arena with characters used in the other three territories on the holotable.

Instead of creating a text chart below as we started with, we’re going to share the awesome infographics made by the SWGoH community to help assist players in the Grand Arena Championships seeking effective counter teams. In addition, here is the link to a recent CubsFanHan video to help you (hopefully) successfully counter Darth Revan, General Skywalker, the Nightsisters and even the Galactic Legend characters in the Grand Arena Championships.
