TFEW: Best Bots for Amalgamous Prime Core

TFEW - Transformers Earth Wars

Amalgamous Prime Core

TFEW - Amalgamous Prime CoreThe Amalgamous Prime Core is one of 12 Prime Cores in Transformers Earth Wars which offers the Power of the Primes to enhance the equipped bot’s abilities. Each bot is able to equip a single Power Core to enhance their abilities, with the 12 Prime Cores qualifying as the best of the Power Cores in the game. TFEW allows players to open a Prime Core from gathering 5,000 Prime Core Chips which are earned from a variety of weekend events.

Starting at Level 1 it reads “While in alt mode, increases all damage (including abilities) by 6% and restores 1% Health every 0.5 seconds”

Level 1 – 6%

Level 5 – 8%

Level 20 – 15.5%

Understanding the Amalgamous Prime Core

Who are the best bots for the Amalgamous Prime Core? The Amalgamous Prime Core enhances the attached bot in two ways: One, it provides a percentage increase in Special Ability damage (15.5% maximum) to the attached bot. Second, it restores the health of the attached bot by 1% every 0.5 seconds while the bot is in Special Ability mode. This sounds fantastic, does it not? The catch is Amalgamous only provides both of these enhanced attributes to bots in alternate modes (with exceptions). Alternate mode is what the bot transforms into. However, not every bot has an alternate mode. As an example, Optimus Prime/Megatron transform into a truck/tank in alternate mode. Soundwave/Blaster and Shockwave/Wheeljack do not transform and therefore have no alternate mode.

Another Amalgamous usage constraint is bound to the 1% healing (every 0.5 seconds) attribute while the bot is in alternate mode. If the bot with Amalgamous Prime Core attached does not remain in alternate mode for an extended amount of time, the healing attribute is minimized. It is optimized for bots with timed Special Abilities. As an example, Blackarachnia/Cheetor have a Special Ability that lasts for 15 seconds. This can provide them +15.5% Special Ability damage while healing them for 1% every 0.5 seconds. This does not mean you cannot attach Amalgamous to Mixmaster/Jazz in order to take advantage of the Special Ability damage increase, it just means they will receive very little from the secondary healing attribute the Amalgamous Prime Core provides. Additionally, there is an exception to the rule though as it pertains to Amalgamous only working on bots in alternate mode. Amalgamous does work on Rippersnapper/Slash even though they do not have alternate modes.

Best Bots for the Amalgamous Prime Core:

Bots with timed Special Abilities such as Blackarachnia/Cheetor, Hun-grrr/Snarl, Armada Megatron/Laser Optimus, Rippersnapper/Slash, Scourge/Swoop, Sentius Malus/Magnus and Impactor.
