MSF: Best Iso-8 Class for Quake

Quake - MSF

Welcome to the Iso-8 guide for Quake, the latest in our series about the popular game Marvel Strike Force. In this series we look at the best Iso-8 enhancements for MSF characters. While some may refer to Iso-8 as simply “mods” like in other mobile games, we will look to stay true to the naming convention of the Marvel universe and the developers over at Scopely. We at Gaming-fans.com certainly do not claim to have all of the answers in this game, but we do our research and look to use every hero and villain we write about extensively. These are Iso-8 recommendations based on the character’s kit and actual gameplay to help you in your quest to dominate in Marvel Strike Force. Note that these Iso-8 classes may differ from one team makeup to another, so feel free use this as guide knowing that these can change in differing situations within MSF’s gameplay.

Today’s character to review is Quake. A key member of the Inhumans, for the purposes of MSF, Quake is a Hero, Global Bio, Controller, SHIELD, Metamorphosis and Inhuman. Let’s take a look at the stats we want to focus on enhancing now that Iso-8 modifications have been added to Marvel Strike Force.

Main Focus: Focus. Quake, like Karnak, is Focus-driven and boosts the Focus of her Inhuman teammates. She can land the Slow and Offense Down debuffs which can be battle-changers to setup Black Bolt to do the real damage.

Ideal Iso-8 Class for Quake in Marvel Strike Force:

Quake is the OG Inhuman character in MSF, in the game since the beginning. Her Earthquake AoE attack was once feared by her opponents, but is just an average AoE attack now. That having been said, when running a team of Inhumans with Black Bolt, Crystal, Karnak, Quake and Yo-Yo, assuming no Speed Down debuff or Stun is in play, Quake will take her turn 4th, just before Black Bolt. This could set her up well to be a Skirmisher or Raider in an effort to then utilize the legendary Black Bolt as a Striker and take full advantage of his turn. I am choosing to use her as a Raider based on the fact that multiple attacks of hers can hit more than one enemy, thus (potentially) landing multiple Vulnerable Iso-8 debuffs.
