Welcome to the Iso-8 guide for Abomination, the latest in our series about the popular game Marvel Strike Force. In this series we look at the best Iso-8 enhancements for MSF characters. While some may refer to Iso-8 as simply “mods” like in other mobile games, we will look to stay true to the naming convention of the Marvel universe and the developers over at Scopely. We at Gaming-fans.com certainly do not claim to have all of the answers in this game, but we do our research and look to use every hero and villain we write about extensively. These are Iso-8 recommendations based on the character’s kit and actual gameplay to help you in your quest to dominate in Marvel Strike Force. Note that these Iso-8 classes may differ from one team makeup to another, so feel free use this as a guide knowing that these can change in differing situations within MSF’s gameplay.
Today’s character to review is Abomination, one of the new characters added to MSF in late 2022 to form the Gamma faction. His introduction came well-timed as he was also featured in the She-Hulk series that ran during the Fall of 2022 at the same time. For the purpose of Marvel Strike Force, Abomination is a Villain, Global, Bio, Brawler, and a member of the Gamma faction. Let’s take a look at the best Iso-8 class and stats we want to focus on enhancing through the Iso-8 modifications in Marvel Strike Force.
Main Focus: With the second fastest base Speed on the Gamma team at 121, Abomination will usually take his turn immediately after Red Hulk opens the battle. Statistically speaking, he has a Top-10 Power and Health stat, and while he is a very nice character in-game, his other stats are nothing to get too excited over. However he fits the Gamma team nicely, so adding more Damage, Health and Focus are the best routes to take.
Ideal Iso-8 Class for Abomination in Marvel Strike Force:
With the team’s second fastest base Speed, Abomination is a great candidate to land the Iso-8 Vulnerable status effect. He has a readily-available AoE and a basic that can hit more than one enemy, so the Raider class feels like the best fit for Abomination and that is the popular choice. However it is worth noting that having Abomination and Red Hulk as opposites – one Raider and one Striker – also make a lot of sense. For example, a (Raider) Red Hulk opening attack hits three enemies and Abomination (Striker) follows that with his AoE or basic and you get the extra attack, and you can start a battle off quite well. As a result the Striker class should also be in play based on your own gameplay.
