The 10th mission of the Dark Dimension VI – Shifting Darkness has 30 enemies and 124 million health to work through. Like before, we now have specific groups to use, with Missions 9, 10 & 11 requiring City characters. My team available to start is Spider-Man (Big Time), Firestar, Scarlet Spider, Shang-Chi and She-Hulk as I continue the Gaming-fans.com Dark Dimension 6 Live Blogs & Walkthroughs. I will likely tough it out and use this group of five for all of the City battles and save the gear for the future Legendary characters needed.
I start off the 10th mission with my team of Spider-Man (Big Time), Firestar, Scarlet Spider, Shang-Chi and She-Hulk for a total of 1,877,127 power as I face 30 enemies with a total of 124m health. Firestar, Scarlet Spider, Shang-Chi and She-Hulk are at 7-red stars with Spider-Man (Big Time) at 5-stars, 5-red stars and all at least Iso-8, Level 2, Tier 4.
To the battle, 8 enemies are on-screen to start and I start and restart this first battle several times. Unfortunately. however, I do not have the cooldowns set or characters to do what I need to contain Cloak’s debuffs so that I can make significant progress. So, this battle ends up being a wasted one as I finally settle on the use of basics only to setup tomorrow as I do not get a kill and leave 30 enemies and 124m health.
My second attack centers around getting the Speed Down on all of the enemies to allow me a chance to do significant damage. When I do take the attack and have the start that allows me to be effective, I have to be cautious to work around the Scarlet Witch’s heal and I continue to debuff the enemies until I can get enough attacks on Invisible Woman to get my first kill. I get a couple of good hits on Ironheart, the weakest of the enemies and cannot finish her off as she heals back up to yellow health and the enemies are just too much. After two attacks, 29 enemies remains with 110m health to go.
Attack #3 is where I hope to start making significant progress as 7 enemies are on-screen with Ironheart as the weakest. I go right after Scarlet Witch, getting her to yellow quickly, and finishing her off with SMBT after the enemies take their turns. I use She-Hulk to Stun Cloak and then debuff the five on the right side with Firestar’s middle ability, then finish off Ironheart. I place my hits on Cosmo due to the Defense Down debuff on her, but a heal makes this take longer than I had hoped. The enemy She-Hulk taunts to mess my timing up, but the Bleeds on Cosmo kill her just after Korg kills my SMBT. Now at 26 left, reinforcements arrive to put 6 on-screen and I am stuck hitting She-Hulk. I lose She-Hulk and decide to just use basics until the end comes to setup the next attack and die with 26 enemies and 101m health to go.
My 4th attack sees SMBT start things off strong and Firestar debuff four enemies. A Scarlet Spider ultimate gets both Cloak and Human Torch to red health, and I take them out on the next two turns. Reinforcements arrive at 24 enemies left, and Shang-Chi lands an AoE and I finish off Mr. Fantastic as 23 remain. Firestar debuffs the cluster of four enemies on the right, and when I finish off Falcon to bring it to 22 enemies, reinforcements arrive again. Now 22 remain with 6 on-screen, and I go all-in on the Scarlet Witch, killing her after four turns. Now She-Hulk is in my sights, but Cloack debuffs my team and SHIELD Operative heals She-Hulk before she taunts to mess this plan up. With a ton of debuffs on my squad and no momentum, I use basics to setup the next attack and watch them finish me off with 21 enemies and 87m health left.
For attack #5 I try out hitting Cloak with everything I have, only to see SHIELD Operative Stealth and heal him and screw up my progress. So for my second time around I reverse the strategy and hit SHIELD Operative, stunning her with She-Hulk and getting the kill shortly after. With 20 enemies now left I have to work around the enemy She-Hulk’s taunt, and I am able to push through her taunt and kill her while weakening Cloak beside her. I keep focusing on Cloak, and keeping him contained allows me to then kill Korg and Ironheart as well to completely clear the board for a second before 8 new enemies arrive. Now 16 total are left and I start on this new round, going right after Cosmo. Shang-Chi is my first to die, followed by Scarlet Spider, as my debuffs on this group do little to slow them down or weaken them, and I end up with only Spider-Man (Big Time) on the board at the end. The 1 vs 8 ends as expected as 20 enemies and 61m health remain.
My 6th attack will continue the focus on Cosmo, and I get him to yellow rather quickly. He heals after hitting red and adds barrier, but SMBT clears the barrier and I finish the flying space dog off. Then the enemies go nuts and start kicking my butt. Before I get another turn it is a 1 vs 7 and this goes no better than the previous mismatch, as I fall with 19 enemies and 57.9m health left.
Back for the 7th time and I go all-in on the yellow-health Star-Lord (Annihilation) and annihilate him quickly. With 14 enemies to go I have 6 on-screen and need to turn some of this offense and go after the War Machine in the front row how has the Vulnerable with my Striker, SMBT. She-Hulk stuns Dagger and Firestar debuffs a group of enemies with WM in the middle of the group. An ultimate from Scarlet Spider slows Dagger and clears her buffs, then SMBT finishes one War Machine off. The enemies get several turns and have two of my characters in yellow health, but a Shang-Chi AoE kills Ironheart as 12 remain and reinforcements arrive. I start going for the kill with Dagger as she is a real pain and I play it incorrectly, allowing the other War Machine, who was 1-2 hits away from dead, to heal up to yellow. I lose Shang-Chi and Firestar and use basics to end the fight from SMBT to finish off Dagger as 11 remain, but the enemies are too strong and finish me off. 11 enemies and 42.4m health remain as I prepare to fight again.
Battle #8 begins with SMBT’s AoE which lands some debuffs, then I go all-in on War Machine, killing him quickly as 10 remain and more reinforcements arrive. Now 6 enemies are on-screen, and the two newbs are Scarlet Witch and Invisible Woman, and I stray from my normal strategy to kill healers ASAP and go after Falcon, who is surprisingly bothersome with this group, killing him as 9 remain. Now I start putting hits on IW and she adds Barrier to all and gains Defense Up, so I switch to SW and Firestar debuffs the group. I get SW to red health and IW adds stealth to all but Vision and I am hoping for the Bleed debuffs and maybe an AoE to finish her as I start hitting Vision. The Bleeds do their job and the Scarlet Witch is no more, leaving 8 enemies as a new Ironhear and War Machine appear to make 6 on-screen enemies. I start hitting War Machine and have him in yellow health when I lose my first character, Firestar, but I am able to kill WM and move on. She-Hulk stuns Ironheart and SMBT and Scarlet Spider debuff the enemies. I take some hits and my four hang on my a thread, then SMBT clears the barrier on Invisible Woman and I target her. An AoE from Shang-Chi ends his day as he is killed immediately after and I get IW to red and finish her off with SMBT. Now 6 remain and Thor (Infinity War) and Viv Vision appear and the wheels fall off. I use basics until the end and die with 6 enemies and 19.1m health to go.
My 9th and final battle on this mission comes late at night, just minutes before the daily reset after a long day on the road. Facing 5 of the final 6 enemies on-screen, I land a Vulnerable on Vision and he ends up being the target of my first kill of the day. Viv Vision reinforces as the final 5 are here, and I lose She-Hulk but that does not come into play as a significant loss. Ironheart is the weakest and therefore the next to go. From here it is just the old chopping down trees method with Wong and Korg next thanks to Defense Down debuffs, then finally Thor IW and VV. The reward is 2k Mega-Orb Fragments, 1.25m Gold and 50 teal gear pieces.
