HPWU Community Days

Community Events in Harry Potter: Wizards Unite appear to be a regular for the game that launched globally in June 2019, after the first-ever Wizards Unite Community Day seemed to have been a success. That first Community Day took place on Saturday, July 20th with the second Community Day planned for Saturday, August 10th, 2019. When details are released on this new Community Day even for August 2019 we will be glad to post them below.

Witches, wizards and gaming fans alike can prepare their wands, and read below for the details needed about these event as well as tips on how to prepare and make the most of your time.

In HPWU, a Community Day event takes place for 3-hours on a weekend. The initial Community Day event had three separate times for the event, depending on region, listed below:

  • Asia Pacific: 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. AEST (UTC +10)
  • Europe, Middle East, Africa, and India: 10:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. UTC
  • The Americas and Greenland: 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. PDT (UTC -7)

During those three hours, players could take advantage of some in-game bonuses which, in July were:

  • 3x XP when using Baruffio’s Brain Elixir
  • Increased number of Traces on the map
  • Increase of Hogwarts School Traces
  • Dark Detectors last 1 hour

Players were also be able to claim a Free Store Pack during the initial Community Day hours which included 50 Spell Energy, a Baruffio’s Brain Elixir and 5 Potter’s Calamity Runestones.

 

August 2019 Community Day Details

August’s Community Day event is expected to include the following:

  • XP bonuses when participating in Wizarding Challenges, with additional bonuses for playing with friends
  • Free store pack featuring Spell Energy from the Diagon Alley shop
  • Healing potions brew quicker and offer more Stamina when consumed
  • Ingredients used to brew Healing potions appear more frequently on the Map
  • Potions brewed using a Rental Cauldron will have their brew times reduced by 33%

Details on the August Community Day event will take place:

  • Asia-Pacific region: August 10, from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. AEST (UTC +10)
  • Europe, the Middle East, Africa and India: August 10, from 10:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. UTC
  • Americas and Greenland: August 10, from 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. PDT (UTC -7)
