In another edition of the Relic Review series, this article will take a look at Canderous Ordo and his Relic, the Prototype Heavy Repeater. As always, these reviews compare a character at Relic level 0 to Relic level 7 and mods are not factored in.

To start off, Canderous gains a very useful 19,746 Health increase. This is paired well with his 11.74% Armor increase and 11.72% Resistance gain to improve his survivability.

On the offensive side, Canderous sees an impressive 2,706 Physical Damage increase, bringing his total to 7,548. He also benefits greatly from the 18% Physical Critical Chance increase. Being able to attack three times with his basic, the 13.5% Physical Accuracy increase will help ensure his bonus attacks aren’t evaded. Finally, Canderous gains +90 of both Armor Penetration and Resistance Penetration to make those attacks hit harder. Because Canderous only deals Physical Damage, the increases to his Special Damage and Special Accuracy can be ignored.

Because Canderous Ordo is an attacker, he benefits greatly from many of the stat gains from his relic. However, his main use is on an Old Republic team under Carth Onasi lead and they aren’t close to being a top meta team. In addition he is the only dark side member on that team so they can’t go together in Territory Battles. Even though the Relic itself is very good, the character has somewhat limited viability. Because of these factors, I put his Relic on the upper end of the Medium Priority tier.
