TFEW: Best Power Cores for Dinobot & Dinobot II

TFEW Header

Welcome to the latest in our series of articles about the Transformers Earth Wars mobile game where we take a look at the best Power Cores for each TFEW bot. While our staff will never claim to have all of the answers for TFEW, we do our homework and test out each bot to ensure we are making only the best recommendations.

Autobot Dinobot and his Decepticon counterpart Dinobot II come from the “Beast Era portion of the Generation 1 continuity family” per TFwiki.net. First added to the game as the prize in the February 2020 TFEW Alliance Leaderboard Event entitled Fossil Fueds, Dinobot & Dinobot II have a Pack Hunting special ability that reads “Place three decoys that have 33% of your health and DPS. For 15 seconds, you go pack hunting using melee attacks dealing damage and any healing received is increased by 20%.” So which Power Cores are best for Dinobot & Dinobot II and ensure this special ability is enhanced?

Best Power Core for Dinobot & Dinobot II:

Amalgamous Prime – This is actually a tricky bot to determine the best core for once you get past this, the best Prime Core in TFEW in my opinion. The reason the Amalgamous Prime Core is a perfect fit for Dinobot is the melee attacks will hit harder and the healing will be enhanced, thus making the best Prime Core even better. Dinobot will likely require some testing for your own gameplay and based on your own Power Core inventory, but the Alchemist Prime Core would be a nice fit as well, or simply the Rejuvenate and Vitality Cores are also solid backup plans for those of us (most) who do not get Dinobot/Dinobot II in a 4-star version.

Other Cores: Alchemist Prime Core, Rejuvenate and Vitality
