MSF: Best Iso-8 for Ant-Man

Ant-Man - MSF

Welcome to the Iso-8 guide for Ant-Man, the latest in our series about the popular game Marvel Strike Force. In this series we look at the best Iso-8 enhancements for MSF characters. While some may refer to Iso-8 as simply “mods” like in other mobile games, we will look to stay true to the naming convention of the Marvel universe and the developers over at Scopely. We at Gaming-fans.com certainly do not claim to have all of the answers in this game, but we do our research and look to use every hero and villain we write about extensively. These are Iso-8 recommendations based on the character’s kit and actual gameplay to help you in your quest to dominate in Marvel Strike Force. Note that these Iso-8 classes may differ from one team makeup to another, so feel free use this as guide knowing that these can change in differing situations within MSF’s gameplay.

Today’s character to review is Ant-Man, one of the two OG Pym Tech characters that were in the game before the Pym Tech faction even existed in MSF. Ant-Man is a key member of the Pym Tech team, and for the purposes of MSF, Ant-Man is a Hero, Global, Tech, Controller and a member of the Avenger and Pym Tech factions. Let’s take a look at the stats we want to focus on enhancing now that Iso-8 modifications have been added to Marvel Strike Force.

Main Focus: Ant-Man is a Controller, but with the makeup of this team it depends on the user to determine how to use this character. I would suggest blending survivability stats like Health and Armor along with Damage and Focus to ensure that Ant-Man is as effective as possible.

Ideal Iso-8 Class for Ant-Man in Marvel Strike Force:

When putting the five Pym Tech characters in Marvel Strike Force together there are certainly several ways to use Iso-8, however the goal here is to use it as effectively as possible. Ant-Man takes the 4th turn in a standard Pym Tech attack sequence, and as we have suggested with the others in the faction, we have Ghost as a Skirmisher taking the first turn and laying the Vulnerable Iso-8 status effect on an enemy, only to be cleared by the Striker Wasp with the next turn. We suggest the Raider class for Yellow Jacket with the 3rd turn to setup Ant-Man with his turn. Given the 5th turn will be Stature as a Healer, this leaves Ant-Man to fill another offensive role, despite his Controller tag. Thus, I am suggesting the use of Ant-Man in the Striker class to get more offense on this team, knowing full well that I will reevaluate this recommendation in time. Other Iso options could be the Skirmisher, Healer and Fortifier classes.
