Welcome to the Iso-8 guide for Ikaris, the latest in our series about the popular game Marvel Strike Force. In this series we look at the best Iso-8 enhancements for MSF characters. While some may refer to Iso-8 as simply “mods” like in other mobile games, we will look to stay true to the naming convention of the Marvel universe and the developers over at Scopely. We at Gaming-fans.com certainly do not claim to have all of the answers in this game, but we do our research and look to use every hero and villain we write about extensively. These are Iso-8 recommendations based on the character’s kit and actual gameplay to help you in your quest to dominate in Marvel Strike Force. Note that these Iso-8 classes may differ from one team makeup to another, so feel free use this as guide knowing that these can change in differing situations within MSF’s gameplay.
Today’s character to review is Ikaris, one of the first two members of the Eternals added to Marvel Strike Force in late 2021. For the purposes of MSF, Ikaris is a Hero, Cosmic, Mystic, Blaster, Defiant and Eternal Connections character. Let’s take a look at the stats we want to focus on enhancing through Iso-8 modifications in Marvel Strike Force.
Main Focus: Ikaris is a Blaster who hits hard, can hit multiple enemies and can flip enemy status effects. On Spawn he gains Offense Up and grants it to all Eternal allies so sticking with the offensive theme of his kit with added Damage is wise.
Ideal Iso-8 Class for Ikaris in Marvel Strike Force:
Along with Sersi, Ikaris immediately made an impact on MSF as the two are quite the duo in the game in late 2021. This Blaster has the ability to Heal or add Offense Up to Sersi, grants Offense Up to all Eternal allies, can flip enemy positive effects into negative effects and more. With Sersi setting the table as a Skirmisher, I recommend Ikaris to follow things as a Striker to maximize the effectiveness of this duo in MSF. The Raider class could be in play as more Eternals are added to the game, but the Striker class is the best fit in the current game.
