Welcome to the Iso-8 guide for Magik, the latest in our series about the popular game Marvel Strike Force. In this series we look at the best Iso-8 enhancements for MSF characters. While some may refer to Iso-8 as simply “mods” like in other mobile games, we will look to stay true to the naming convention of the Marvel universe and the developers over at Scopely. We at Gaming-fans.com certainly do not claim to have all of the answers in this game, but we do our research and look to use every hero and villain we write about extensively. These are Iso-8 recommendations based on the character’s kit and actual gameplay to help you in your quest to dominate in Marvel Strike Force. Note that these Iso-8 classes may differ from one team makeup to another, so feel free use this as a guide knowing that these can change in differing situations within MSF’s gameplay.
Today’s character to review is Magik. The most recent member of the Uncanny X-Men faction added to Marvel Strike Force, Magik is a Hero, Cosmic, Mutant, Support and a member of the Uncanny X-Men faction. Let’s take a look at the best Iso-8 class and stats we want to focus on enhancing through the Iso-8 modifications in Marvel Strike Force.
Main Focus: Magik checks in with a base Speed of 100, and has the 5th highest Armor stat and Top 20 Focus & Resistance stats. She adds Barrier to her X-Men allies based on her Max Health, so this (Health) should be the first place to start enhancing stats with Iso-8. Her ability to cleanse debuffs from allies and clear buffs from enemies means you want her alive and well, so build on that Armor stat as well.
Ideal Iso-8 Class for Magik in Marvel Strike Force:
Magik is a character who could fit in a few different Iso-8 classes based on her use. A quick check of the Iso-8 bot from MSF.gg and ~78% have gone with the Striker class, which is my initial thought. Interestingly enough, over 11% have chosen the Fortifier class and another 6% the Skirmisher class, an interesting choice given her slow Speed stat as the only Uncanny X-Men character who is slower is Psylocke. I can see where the Fortifier class makes a lot of sense given Magik’s ability to grant Barrier X-Men allies and cleanse, thus the value in keeping her alive, and as a result this is my recommendation – to use Magik in the Fortifier class with Iso-8 in Marvel Strike Force.
