MSF: Best Iso-8 for Deathlok

Deathlok - MSF

Welcome to the Iso-8 guide for Deathlok, the latest in our series about the popular game Marvel Strike Force. In this series we look at the best Iso-8 enhancements for characters in MSF. While some may refer to Iso-8 as simply “mods” like in other mobile games, we will look to stay true to the naming convention of the Marvel universe and the developers over at Scopely. We at Gaming-fans.com certainly do not claim to have all of the answers in this game, but we do our research and look to use every hero and villain we write about extensively. These are Iso-8 recommendations based on the character’s kit and actual gameplay to help you in your quest to dominate in Marvel Strike Force. Note that these Iso-8 classes may differ from one team makeup to another, so feel free use this as guide knowing that these can change in differing situations within MSF’s gameplay.

Today’s character to review is Deathlok. One of the new characters added to MSF to make up the Bionic Avengers faction, for the purposes of Marvel Strike Force, Deathlok is a Hero, Global, Tech, Blaster who is also a member of the Bionic Avenger faction. Let’s take a look at the stats we want to focus on enhancing with Iso-8 modifications.

Main Focus: Focus. To start, Deathlok is the fastest character on this team and is designed to apply debuffs. He has the highest Focus stat in the game and is tied for the highest Accuracy as well. Given he has two attacks that hit multiple enemies and can apply important debuffs to enemies, adding Focus is the first step to a good Bionic Avengers team.

Additional Areas to Focus: Damage. Deathlok is strong offensively, ranking in the Top 20 in-game in terms of Damage, so beef up his Damage to make him even more effective, especially after he grants himself Offense Up.

Ideal Iso-8 Setup for Deathlok in Marvel Strike Force:

Given the way this team stacks up, with a combination of Raiders and Strikers, Deathlok is likely the most obvious Iso-8 choice on this team. He will take the first turn in most battles with his AoE, and if you get multiple crits and debuffs on the enemies you’re setting the battle up for success. As a result the Raider class is the Iso-8 class that best fits Deathlock to allow for his teammates to take advantage and get the win.
