MSF: Best Iso-8 for Red Hulk

Red Hulk - MSF

Welcome to the Iso-8 guide for Red Hulk, the latest in our series about the popular game Marvel Strike Force. In this series we look at the best Iso-8 enhancements for MSF characters. While some may refer to Iso-8 as simply “mods” like in other mobile games, we will look to stay true to the naming convention of the Marvel universe and the developers over at Scopely. We at Gaming-fans.com certainly do not claim to have all of the answers in this game, but we do our research and look to use every hero and villain we write about extensively. These are Iso-8 recommendations based on the character’s kit and actual gameplay to help you in your quest to dominate in Marvel Strike Force. Note that these Iso-8 classes may differ from one team makeup to another, so feel free use this as a guide knowing that these can change in differing situations within MSF’s gameplay.

Today’s character to review is Red Hulk, the third Legendary Horseman character added to Marvel Strike Force. Red Hulk is a Hero, Global, Bio, Brawler, Legendary, Horseman and a member of the Gamma faction. Let’s take a look at the best Iso-8 class and stats we want to focus on enhancing through the Iso-8 modifications in Marvel Strike Force.

Main Focus: With the fastest base Speed on the Gamma team at 133, Red Hulk will usually take the first turn in most battles. He is a highly Offense-driven character, so first increase his damage and then work from there. He has a top-20 stat in Health, Damage, Armor and Focus at the time of this writing, so all increases to his Iso-8 levels will see more value than with most other characters in the game.

Ideal Iso-8 Class for Red Hulk in Marvel Strike Force:

With the team’s fastest base Speed and high offensive potential, the Striker class has to be in play with Red Hulk. But the more I think about turn order and the importance of setting up teammates, the more Red Hulk as a Raider sounds good. Given he starts by hitting primary and adjacent targets on his first move, adding additional CC/CD will not only increase the chance of bigger hits, but crits will then allow a Raider to come in and exploit the enemies. So while the Striker class is the safe bet and may be the best option in time, the Raider class should also get some serious consideration if the entire team is lined up properly. Personally, I am testing out a rather unconventional lineup where Red Hulk and Abomination are Raiders, Hulk and Brawn are Strikers, and She-Hulk is a Healer.
