Welcome to the best mods for Admiral Trench – the latest article in our series about the popular game Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes where we take a look at the best mod sets & stats for each SWGoH character. While I do not claim to have all of the answers in this game, I do my research and have used every character I write about extensively. These are mod recommendations and they are certainly not the only option. However we look to help players maximize their characters in SWGoH and we are always open to feedback if you have a mod setup that works well of your gameplay.

Admiral Trench - SWGoHToday’s character to review mods for will be Admiral Trench, the prize of a 3-month Conquest grind in SWGoH. Admiral Trench is the strange spider-like creature who Anakin faced off with in the Clone Wars, and, despite his billing as a military strategist, never seemed to get the job done. Let’s take a look at which mods are best suited and which stats we want to enhance for Admiral Trench in Galaxy of Heroes.

Main Focus: Admiral Trench has a strong kit and can land Shock, Stun and Stagger while also dispelling debuffs. He also has some very valuable unique abilities that are enhanced when Wat Tambor and Nute Gunray are used with him. While this may lead to fewer players using Wat Tambor alongside Sith Eternal Emperor (SEE) or (Supreme Leader Kylo Ren (SLKR), I expect that it will actually boost the value of The Armorer and Hermit Yoda and I am hopeful that we will get another non-attacking support character in-game soon. That having all been said, you want Admiral Trench to take his turn as quickly as possible to enhance his team, so I that Speed is the best option for him.

Additional Areas to Focus: Potency, Tenacity and survivability in the form of Health. All allies have +30% Max Health, Max Protection, and Potency and the have +10% Speed for each ally with a Tech AND each enemy with Extortion. Given Wat Tambor can assign 3 Techs to allies and Nute Gunray can assign Extortion multiple times over, Admiral Trench’s Feared Tactician unique can be deadly. As a note, that is not +10 Speed but +10% Speed – a BIG difference. For Admiral Trench, he has a 171 base Speed stat, so gets +17 Speed for each of the above can add up to some big numbers. He is going to need Potency to ensure he lands Shock, Stun and Stagger regularly from his attacks, but the Potency boosts will certainly help. Tenacity is here to ensure he is not Ability Blocked and since Trench’s Health is turned into Max Protection to start a battle, adding more health to boost this stat is recommended.

In-game Mod Recommendations: Speed & Health. No real disagreement here – this kit is interesting and should be fun to use in-game.

 

Ideal Mod Setup for SWGoH Admiral Trench:

Admiral Trench is a strong character and will be disruptive to a great many in Territory Wars and the Grand Arena. He nicely enhances a team of Separatists that are less-used or used in other ways which is always good for the game. The in-game recommendations call for Speed and Health sets and I agree completely, just do not ignore Tenacity and Potency. Thus, here is my recommended approach for Admiral Trench’s mods:

  • Transmitter (Square) – Health mod with a primary focus on offense and a secondary focus on speed, potency, tenacity and health
  • Receiver (Arrow) – Speed mod with a primary focus on speed and a secondary focus on potency, tenacity and health
  • Processor (Diamond) – Speed mod with a primary focus on defense and a secondary focus on speed, potency, tenacity and health
  • Holo-Array (Triangle) – Health mod with a primary focus on health and a secondary focus on speed, potency, tenacity and health
  • Data-Bus (Circle) – Speed mod with a primary focus on health and a secondary focus on speed, potency, tenacity and health
  • Multiplexer (Plus) – Speed mod with a primary focus on health and a secondary focus on speed, potency, tenacity and health
