MSF: Best Iso-8 for Absorbing Man

Absorbing Man - MSF

Welcome to the Iso-8 guide for Absorbing Man, the latest in our series about the popular game Marvel Strike Force. In this series we look at the best Iso-8 enhancements for MSF characters. While some may refer to Iso-8 as simply “mods” like in other mobile games, we will look to stay true to the naming convention of the Marvel universe and the developers over at Scopely. We at certainly do not claim to have all of the answers in this game, but we do our research and look to use every hero and villain we write about extensively. These are Iso-8 recommendations based on the character’s kit and actual gameplay to help you in your quest to dominate in Marvel Strike Force. Note that these Iso-8 classes may differ from one team makeup to another, so feel free use this as guide knowing that these can change in differing situations within MSF’s gameplay.

Today’s character to review is Absorbing Man. Absorbing Man is a Villain, Global, Mystic, Protector character and a member of the Masters of Evil faction. Let’s take a look at the stats we want to focus on enhancing through the Iso-8 modifications available in Marvel Strike Force.

Main Focus: The Masters of Evil faction is a strong team, and Absorbing Man benefits from the boosts from his teammates. Whenever he has Defense Up he gains +20% Armor and Resistance, and as the taunting “tank” on the team, added survivability is never a bad idea. As a result I would look to boost Health, Armor and Resistance first.

Ideal Iso-8 Class for Absorbing Man in Marvel Strike Force:

Absorbing Man does not, on the surface, appear to be a CC/CD focused character, but a deeper dive into Kang the Conqueror‘s unique finds that all Masters of Evil allies of Kang gain +40% Critical Chance and +20% Critical Damage. While I started with Absorbing Man as a Healer, I have since switched as he is now stronger and at 6-red stars to the Raider class to maximize the CC/CD boosts and get more power out of Absorbing Man.
