Battlefront 2 is bringing back the class system from the original games. Each faction has four classes. This is the Specialist Class:
Specialist Class
Hunters
Specialists employ deadly traps to harry enemy forces, reveal battlefield intelligence to their comrades, and snipe at enemies with long-distance weaponry.
A Tactical Approach
Specialists are the tricksters of the battlefield. They’re extremely powerful on defense and create openings for Assault and Heavy classes by eliminating threats.
Resistance Specialist
Long Range
Striking from hiding, specialists rely on stealth and position to finish foes before they ever see a threat coming. Each class can equip Star Cards to modify and enhance their combat abilities. A few examples of the ability Star Cards for the Specialist class are:
- Stun Grenade: A grenade that slows down enemies making them easier to pick off.
- Infiltration: Reveal all enemies on your scanner. Scramble enemy scanners in close proximity. Draw a medium-range weapon that builds no heat during the active time of this ability. When you perform a kill, the active time of this ability is replenished.
- Scout Binoculars: Allows you to see enemies behind walls and mark them for your team.
Rebel Specialist
Specialty Distance Attacks, Stealth
Mobility Moderate
Team Roles Sniping, Traps
Durability Low
