Welcome to the latest in our series of articles about the Transformers Earth Wars mobile game where we take a look at the best Power Cores for each bot. While our staff will never claim to have all of the answers for TFEW, we do our homework and test out each bot to ensure we are making only the best recommendations.

Today’s bots to review Power Cores for are Prowl & Brawl. Prowl & Brawl are some of the “old school” gunners of TFEW. They are typical examples of their class. They do relatively high damage at long ranges, but their HPs are quite low. They are prototypical “glass cannons” that are used to take out the most important defensive structures, such as mortars and lasers, as well as clustered buildings. Power cores can be used to push Prowl & Brawl’s special abilities over the top, which is especially needed at higher levels of play.

Best Power Core for Prowl & Brawl:

Volatile Mixture – Increasing rocket barrage’s damage can take your bot to the next level. Even the lowliest Volatile Mixture power core can take a bot that’s just out of range to a beast that is one shotting mortars. The difference between a one shot and not is often small, but the cost to reuse or utilize other abilities to take down a HQ15’s mortars is huge. But why not try increasing the ability’s damage through more spark? The amount of spark and bot level that it would take to one shot a mortar is extremely high and cost prohibitive. You would need a L60 Prow / Brawl with L6 Rocket Barrage to one shot a L12 Mortar! That’s a huge investment! The Volatile Mixture core cuts down that investment significantly.
