Welcome to the latest in our series of articles about the Transformers Earth Wars mobile game where we take a look at the best Power Cores for each bot. While our staff will never claim to have all of the answers for TFEW, we do our homework and test out each bot to ensure we are making only the best recommendations.

Skydive and Skywarp are unique amongst the Autobots/Decepticons as they are some of the only bots to deal damage over time with their Acid Bomb ability. They are some of the most powerful Aerial bots in the game as the 4* version can take out mortars at L50 with ONLY a L6 ability! For little investment, you are getting a big “bang for your spark.” The one downside of these bots is that although they can do this, they often hang in the air for an extended period of time, thus they take a lot of damage from laser turrets. They also suffer from relatively low HP. So, which core best works for these bots?

Best Power Core for Skydive & Skywarp:

Reflective Coating (Skydive) or G1 Skywarp – As you will most likely use these bots’ abilities 2-3 times each battle, Skydive and Skywarp will definitely take a beating from laser turrets as a result. The damage done by the turrets is greater than other cores, such as the Vitality or Rejuvenate Cores would help with. In addition, they may take some damage from beam lasers on the ground, which will destroy them extremely quickly, as you are generally spending most APs to take out mortars if these bots are on your team. Skywarp is unique in that the G1 core is almost a clone of the Reflective Coating core, except that it also ends up restoring a percentage of his health, which is immensely helpful with these squishy bots – hopefully Skydive gets his G1 core soon!
