The January 14-16 Territory War is the first that features “banned” characters in Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes, a topic we will not even bother to touch on after the community made their thoughts very clear. A total of 20 characters of the 168 toons in SWGoH are not playable in this Territory War, however a breakdown of these numbers makes it a bit more perplexing. A total of 7 Light Side and 13 Dark Side characters will not be available for this Territory War which represents a disproportionate percentage given we have just 72 Dark Side characters and 96 Light Side characters in the game today. Thus, with the banned characters (listed below), we have 89 Light Side and just 59 Dark Side characters for the January 14-16 event.

Note that any ship piloted by one of these characters IS still playable.
