As part of our popular Marvel Strike Force (MSF) 101 section, today we bring you more about how to prepare for and complete the Challenges. One of my favourite things within Marvel Strike Force are the Daily Challenges. Every day, there are 2 challenges running at the same time, with all of the challenges open on weekends.
Training Day Challenge:
This challenge earns you training modules and requires Cosmic Characters to complete. This challenge is a personal favourite of mine to work towards, as building a good Cosmic team will help you smash the Cosmic Conflicts Campaign!
The recommendations for this challenge are:
- Squad level 70+
- Gear tier 12+
- Red stars 4+
Don’t get too stuck on these requirements, as I completed tier 10 of this challenge with a team nowhere near these requirements. However, I did utilise the maximum synergies in order to beat this event at such weaker power levels.
Recommended Team:
- Thanos
- Rocket Raccoon
- Star Lord
- Gamora
- Groot
If you don’t have these toons, I would suggest using Drax, Mantis, Minn-Erva or Yondu as replacements. As they are all very useful characters and great to have!
Ability Enhancements Challenge:
This challenge earns you Ability Materials on every tier, with each tier progressively giving you better rewards. This challenge requires Controllers and Protectors. It is pretty much understood that this challenge is the most difficult in the game, so don’t worry if you cannot beat it straight away as it will take some time!
The recommendations for this challenge are:
- Squad level 70+
- Gear tier 12+
- Red stars 4+
Recommended Team:
- Vision
- Captain America
- Black Widow
- Quake
- Magneto (use Mordo if you do not have Magneto)
This team is ideal but using Shield Security or Juggernaut in place of Captain America can work very well as you. It all depends on where your roster is, but the recommended team will be the easiest to beat the event with.
Gold Rush Challenge:
This challenge earns you Gold and Gold Orb Fragments, which we are all in desperate need of! This challenge requires City Characters.
The recommendations for this challenge are:
- Squad level 70+
- Gear tier 12+
- Red stars 4+
Recommended Team: (Defenders)
- Luke Cage
- Punisher / Ms. Marvel
- Daredevil
- Iron Fist
- Jessica Jones
This challenge is great to work towards, as the Defenders are still one of the top Meta teams in the game and will always be worthwhile to gear up for future use!
Medical Supply Run:
This challenge earns you Blitz and Raid Recharges, some of the most valuable things in the game! The Challenge requires Brawlers & Support Characters.
The recommendations for this challenge are:
- Squad Level 65+
- Gier tier 11+
Recommended Team:
- Spider Man
- Gamora
- Daredevil
- Iron Fist
- Shield Medic
I recommend this team because they are all very accessible characters and are important on various solid teams in the game.
Orb Fragments:
This challenge earns you Premium, Basic and Red Star Orb Fragments. This challenge requires Global Characters and is one of the more difficult ones, in my opinion.
The recommendations for this challenge are:
- Squad level 70+
- Gear tier 12+
- Red stars 4+
Recommended Team:
- Shield Security
- Shield Medic
- Quake/ Nick Fury (Nick Fury makes it much easier)
- Shield Trooper
- Shield Assault
Even with Fury and this team at 200k+ power, it still proved to be very challenging. The team with Fury makes it much easier and I strongly recommend using him if you can!
Catalyst of Change:
This challenge offers a supply of Catalysts, which contains some of the most important gear in the game! The challenge requires Blasters to complete.
The recommendations for this challenge are:
- Squad level 70+
- Gear tier 12+
- Red stars 4+
Recommended Team:
- Rocket Raccoon
- Shield Trooper
- Shield Assault
- Punisher
- Iron Man/ War Machine/ Kable
I recommended these characters as they are all mostly used in other challenges above and are great toons individually and on teams!
