Welcome to the Iso-8 guide for Okoye, the latest in our series about the popular game Marvel Strike Force. In this series we look at the best Iso-8 enhancements for MSF characters. While some may refer to Iso-8 as simply “mods” like in other mobile games, we will look to stay true to the naming convention of the Marvel universe and the developers over at Scopely. We at Gaming-fans.com certainly do not claim to have all of the answers in this game, but we do our research and look to use every hero and villain we write about extensively. These are Iso-8 recommendations based on the character’s kit and actual gameplay to help you in your quest to dominate in Marvel Strike Force. Note that these Iso-8 classes may differ from one team makeup to another, so feel free use this as guide knowing that these can change in differing situations within MSF’s gameplay.
Today’s character to review is Okoye, the General of the Dora Milaje and the head of Wakandan armed forces in the Black Panther movie and Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). In Marvel Strike Force, in addition to being a Wakadan, Okoye is a Hero, Global, Skill and Controller character who is best used with her Wakandan or War Dog allies. Let’s take a look at the stats we want to focus on enhancing when Iso-8 modifications are added to the game.
Iso-8 Focus: Focus. For Okoye, her role is remove buffs with her basic, Spear Strike, and to apply Defense Down with Precision Strike or remove Turn Meter (known as Speed Bar in MSF) with Aerial Impalement. As a result, enhancing her Focus is the best route to take with Okoye to get the most out of this important Wakandan character.
Ideal Iso-8 Class for Okoye in Marvel Strike Force:
Okoye is a Controller in Marvel Strike Force and because she fills her role so well on the Wakandan team, this makes the Skirmisher Class the ideal choice. She was the first to take her turn on an all-Wakandan team, meeting up the Vulnerable Iso debuff for a Striker like Black Panther to exploit, but the additions of Nakia and Black Panther 1MM now have them both taking turns before her. However, with Nakia as a Raider and Black Panther 1MM as a Striker, it allows Okoye and Black Panther to remain in their traditional Iso-8 roles and sets this team up nicely. While the Raider or Striker Classes could be options to consider as well for Okoye, I still strongly prefer to have her as a Skirmisher.
