MSF: Best Iso-8 for Black Panther

MSF - Black Panther

Welcome to the Iso-8 guide for Black Panther, the latest in our series about the popular game Marvel Strike Force. In this series we look at the best Iso-8 enhancements for MSF characters. While some may refer to Iso-8 as simply “mods” like in other mobile games, we will look to stay true to the naming convention of the Marvel universe and the developers over at Scopely. We at Gaming-fans.com certainly do not claim to have all of the answers in this game, but we do our research and look to use every hero and villain we write about extensively. These are Iso-8 recommendations based on the character’s kit and actual gameplay to help you in your quest to dominate in Marvel Strike Force. Note that these Iso-8 classes may differ from one team makeup to another, so feel free use this as guide knowing that these can change in differing situations within MSF’s gameplay.

Today’s character to review is Black Panther. While he is not the Legendary MSF character in the Wakandan faction, something I this FoxNext/Scopely would change if they could, he can be a fantastic offensive character in this game and is made stronger by the other Wakandans and now War Dog teammates in the game. Black Panther is a Hero, Global, Mystic, Brawler who is a member of the Avenger, Wakandan and War Dog factions. Let’s take a look at the stats we want to focus on enhancing now that Iso-8 modifications are added to Marvel Strike Force.

Main Focus: Offense/Damage. Black Panther is a very good character in Marvel Strike Force and I was one of the lucky few to get him in a 6-Red Star version when Red Stars were first introduced. As a result I have seen his damage potential time and time again and built a strong team of Wakandans around him. Because he deals very good Damage already, and his Panther Rush AoE attack can be so devastating, I recommend adding even more Damage to Black Panther to enhance his strength.

Ideal Iso-8 Class for Black Panther in Marvel Strike Force:

Black Panther is a Brawler who uses his attacks to hit hard and land the Slow debuff. Increasing his damage output and using his basic more often is going to help your team be more effective in battle. When looking at the Classes available from Iso-8 upgrades, the Striker Class not only adds to the damage output but also can trigger an Iso bonus attack when the Striker attacks a Marked target. Another option is the Raider Class, which improves Critical Chance and Critical Damage as it scales. While either of these are good choices for Black Panther, much depends on how you use him. I was an early adopter of the entire Wakandan faction and have built that team to over 500k power, thus I use them together. When used as a Wakandan fivesome, I feel that Black Panther is best used as a Striker given the value of critical hits to Killmonger’s kit. However, if you use Black Panther with another combination that does not include Killmonger, the Raider class may be a better fit, given the importance of his AoE attack, to make him as deadly as possible.

With the new War Dog faction in play with Black Panther 1MM and Nakia, it does not really change a lot. Nakia gets the first turn on this team with BP1MM going second and Okoye 3rd. If you keep Okoye as a Skirmisher as I have recommended in these guides, this plays right into BP’s hands so that he cal exploit the Vulnerable enemies and gain the bonus Iso attack.
