MSF: Best Iso-8 for Deadpool

MSF- Deadpool

Welcome to the Iso-8 guide for Deadpool, the latest in our series about the popular game Marvel Strike Force. In this series we look at the best Iso-8 enhancements for MSF characters. While some may refer to Iso-8 as simply “mods” like in other mobile games, we will look to stay true to the naming convention of the Marvel universe and the developers over at Scopely. We at Gaming-fans.com certainly do not claim to have all of the answers in this game, but we do our research and look to use every hero and villain we write about extensively. These are Iso-8 recommendations based on the character’s kit and actual gameplay to help you in your quest to dominate in Marvel Strike Force. Note that these Iso-8 classes may differ from one team makeup to another, so feel free use this as guide knowing that these can change in differing situations within MSF’s gameplay.

Today’s character to review is Deadpool. One of the early additions to Marvel Strike Force, Deadpool is now a key member of the X-Force team, and for the purposes of MSF, Deadpool is a Hero, Global, Mutant, Brawler, Mercenary, Metamorphosis and a member of the X-Force faction. Let’s take a look at the stats we want to focus on enhancing now that Iso-8 modifications have been added to Marvel Strike Force.

Main Focus: Deadpool is an offensive character, so boosting his Damage and possibly his Critical Chance and Critical Damage, are where you want to focus your efforts. On War Offense he takes the 4th turn on an X-Force team, just after X-23, so he can continue to do the damage needed to win your battle. As a result I am adding more Damage and Health first with the Iso-8 modifiers.

Ideal Iso-8 Class for Deadpool in Marvel Strike Force:

When putting the five X-Force characters in Marvel Strike Force together there are certainly several ways to use Iso-8, however the goal here is to use it as effectively as possible. I initially was leaning toward the Raider class when Iso-8 was first released, but the X-Force team does not have a fivesome that all fit into the expected five Iso-8 classes. Because Deadpool does have some boost to his kit for crits, I continue to lean toward the Raider class, as the Hack ‘n’ Slash special fits this well allowing multiple targets to potentially gain the Vulnerable Iso-8 status effect when Deadpool attacks. While I could see arguments for Raider, Striker, Skirmisher and maybe even Healer, I am using him as a Raider on my X-Force team.
