Welcome to the Iso-8 guide for Wolverine, the latest in our series about the popular game Marvel Strike Force. In this series we look at the best Iso-8 enhancements for MSF characters. While some may refer to Iso-8 as simply “mods” like in other mobile games, we will look to stay true to the naming convention of the Marvel universe and the developers over at Scopely. We at Gaming-fans.com certainly do not claim to have all of the answers in this game, but we do our research and look to use every hero and villain we write about extensively. These are Iso-8 recommendations based on the character’s kit and actual gameplay to help you in your quest to dominate in Marvel Strike Force. Note that these Iso-8 classes may differ from one team makeup to another, so feel free use this as guide knowing that these can change in differing situations within MSF’s gameplay.
Today’s character to review is Wolverine, the character that Marvel Strike Force players used to get shards of when completing all daily tasks, and formerly a very low-level character before the addition of Phoenix and the expansion of the X-Men, and later the addition of the Weapon X faction where he and Sabretooth now reside. In MSF Wolverine is a Hero, Global, Mutant, Brawler and Honorable character who is a member of the X-Men, Uncanny X-Men and Weapon X factions. Let’s take a look at the stats we want to focus on enhancing now that Iso-8 modifications have been added to the game.
Iso-8 Focus: Damage based around Critical Chance & Critical Damage. For Wolverine, his role is to be an attacker and do significant damage on any team he is a part of, preferably with other X-Men or Weapon X allies. As a result, build up Wolverine’s Damage, CC and CD and do what you can to enhance these strengths in his Marvel Strike Force character kit as this will help him hit even harder. In addition, any added focus will help him land more debuffs, which is especially helpful when used with Omega Red and the Weapon X faction.
Ideal Iso-8 Class for Wolverine in Marvel Strike Force:
Since Wolverine is a Brawler and benefits from landing critical hits, the Raider class appears at first glance to be a great fit for him. Dig a little deeper and you find that Wolverine has one of the highest base Critical Chance (20%) stats in the game, and the Raider class no long appears to be a good fit, it is a perfect fit. Raiders gain Critical Chance at level 1 and both CC and Critical Damage at levels 3 and 5 of their Iso-8 Level 1 upgrades, so be sure to use this to make Wolverine even more deadly and effective than before.
