Welcome to the Iso-8 guide for The Thing, the latest in our series about the popular game Marvel Strike Force. In this series we look at the best Iso-8 enhancements for MSF characters. While some may refer to Iso-8 as simply “mods” like in other mobile games, we will look to stay true to the naming convention of the Marvel universe and the developers over at Scopely. We at Gaming-fans.com certainly do not claim to have all of the answers in this game, but we do our research and look to use every hero and villain we write about extensively. These are Iso-8 recommendations based on the character’s kit and actual gameplay to help you in your quest to dominate in Marvel Strike Force. Note that these Iso-8 classes may differ from one team makeup to another, so feel free use this as guide knowing that these can change in differing situations within MSF’s gameplay.
Today’s character to review is The Thing. The Thing is a Hero, Cosmic, Bio, Brawler and Voyager in Marvel Strike Force and a member of the Fantastic Four faction. Let’s take a look at the stats we want to focus on enhancing through Iso-8 modifications in MSF.
Main Focus: Survivability & Focus. The Thing is a solid character and another key piece of the Fantastic Four faction. He adds Armor to the entire faction through his unique ability, and is used on one of the popular MSF Alliance War counters to beat the Emmarauders. Adding survivability in the form Defense, as well as adding Damage to his stats will help him stay alive longer and hit harder for your team.
Ideal Iso-8 Class for The Thing in Marvel Strike Force:
Like almost every character in Marvel Strike Force, Iso-8 classes are based on the character’s kit and what team comps they are used with. For the Fantastic Four we already have Invisible Woman in the Healer class, Mister Fantastic as a Skirmisher and Namor as a Raider, so now we need Strikers to do the damage and take advantage of those Vulnerable status effects. I am recommending The Thing and Human Torch both are used in the Striker class for this exact purpose.
