Welcome to the Iso-8 guide for Phoenix, the latest in our series about the popular game Marvel Strike Force. In this series we look at the best Iso-8 enhancements for MSF characters. While some may refer to Iso-8 as simply “mods” like in other mobile games, we will look to stay true to the naming convention of the Marvel universe and the developers over at Scopely. We at Gaming-fans.com certainly do not claim to have all of the answers in this game, but we do our research and look to use every hero and villain we write about extensively. These are Iso-8 recommendations based on the character’s kit and actual gameplay to help you in your quest to dominate in Marvel Strike Force. Note that these Iso-8 classes may differ from one team makeup to another, so feel free use this as a guide knowing that these can change in differing situations within MSF’s gameplay.
Today’s character to review is Phoenix. The Legendary member of the Uncanny X-Men in Marvel Strike Force, Phoenix is a Hero, Global, Mutant, Legendary, Controller and a member of the Uncanny X-Men faction. Let’s take a look at the best Iso-8 class and stats we want to focus on enhancing through the Iso-8 modifications in Marvel Strike Force.
Main Focus: Phoenix checks in with a base Speed of 118 and has the fastest Speed of all members of the Uncanny X-Men faction. She can redistribute her Max Health and steal Health from enemies, but keeping her Health stat high can be seen as a positive or negative. Personally, I am in the high Health is good camp despite the thinking from others that getting Phoenix to summon Dark Phoenix sooner due to lower Health and gear levels is a better way to go.
Ideal Iso-8 Class for Phoenix in Marvel Strike Force:
Phoenix is a strange character fr Iso-8. In MSF she is more powerful once she summons Dark Phoenix, but can still be of high value in her normal state. Her Iso-8 class does not carry over from her regular form to the dark form, so whatever you choose will not benefit your team once she summons Dark Phoenix. Thus, the Skirmisher class may well be the best fit for her given the fast base Speed stat of 118, the fastest in the Uncanny X-Men faction. I have historically used her as a Striker for the added Damage, but having her distribute a few Vulnerable Iso-8 debuffs can also be valuable. I will leave this up to your gameplay and preference, but I would definitely go with either the Skirmisher or Striker class.
