MSF: Best Iso-8 for Fantomex

Fantomex - MSF

Welcome to the Iso-8 guide for Fantomex, the latest in our series about the popular game Marvel Strike Force. In this series we look at the best Iso-8 enhancements for MSF characters. While some may refer to Iso-8 as simply “mods” like in other mobile games, we will look to stay true to the naming convention of the Marvel universe and the developers over at Scopely. We at certainly do not claim to have all of the answers in this game, but we do our research and look to use every hero and villain we write about extensively. These are Iso-8 recommendations based on the character’s kit and actual gameplay to help you in your quest to dominate in Marvel Strike Force. Note that these Iso-8 classes may differ from one team makeup to another, so feel free use this as guide knowing that these can change in differing situations within MSF’s gameplay.

Today’s character to review is Fantomex, a Mutant in the Unlimited X-Men faction who works alongside Sunfire, Gambit, Dazzler and Legendary character, Rogue. Fantomex is a Hero, Global, Mutant, Blaster character and a member of the aforementioned Unlimited X-Men faction. Let’s take a look at the stats we want to focus on enhancing through the Iso-8 modifications available in Marvel Strike Force.

Main Focus: With the full Unlimited X-Men in-game, we have a better idea of how to use Iso-8 on these characters. Health and Armor will help Fantomex stay alive given he can taunt and help keep hits off of this Unlimited X-Men teammates, so focus on these stats first.

Ideal Iso-8 Class for Fantomex in Marvel Strike Force:

Fantomex is not a standout character when it comes to stats, but is a fantastic member of the Unlimited X-Men faction, working well with the team and how they operate. His unique grants Evade to himself and all Unlimited X-Men allies as well as extra Armor, and he heals for 20% of his Max Health on each of his turns, and he has 100% Counter Chance when he has Defense Up. His attacks often hit the enemy multiple times, and thanks to Gambit’s unique which grants Unlimited X-Men allies +25% CC & CD when Gambit has Evade, the Raider class feels like the best fit for Fantomex. While he taunts and the argument for the Healther or Fortifier classes could be made, I am using Fantomex as a Raider to better help the Unlimited X-Men team.
