Welcome to the Iso-8 guide for Phyla-Vell, the latest in our series about the popular game Marvel Strike Force. In this series we look at the best Iso-8 enhancements for MSF characters. While some may refer to Iso-8 as simply “mods” like in other mobile games, we will look to stay true to the naming convention of the Marvel universe and the developers over at Scopely. We at Gaming-fans.com certainly do not claim to have all of the answers in this game, but we do our research and look to use every hero and villain we write about extensively. These are Iso-8 recommendations based on the character’s kit and actual gameplay to help you in your quest to dominate in Marvel Strike Force. Note that these Iso-8 classes may differ from one team makeup to another, so feel free use this as a guide knowing that these can change in differing situations within MSF’s gameplay.
Today’s character to review is Phyla-Vell. In the early days of Marvel Strike Force current Infinity Watch characters Gamora and Nebula had varying levels of importance. But when the Infinity Watch faction was added to MSF this made the old characters relevant thanks to the additions of Moondragon, Phyla-Vell and of course Adam Warlock. In MSF Phyla-Vell is a Hero, Cosmic, Bio, Protector and Devoted character who is a member of the Kree and Infinity Watch factions. Let’s take a look at the stats we want to focus on enhancing through Iso-8 modifications in Marvel Strike Force.
Main Focus: Phyla-Vell is the second slowest character in the Infinity Watch faction when it comes to turn order, and has a base Speed of 115. She can apply valuable debuffs and gains barrier based on her Max Health, so adding Health and Focus will help play to her strengths.
Ideal Iso-8 Class for Phyla-Vell in Marvel Strike Force:
Phyla-Vell is in the middle of the Inifnitiy Watch characters when it comes to Speed and will take the 4th turn on the team with the way things play out. With Nebula starting things out at a Skirmisher and setting the Iso-8 vulnerable status effects up in battle, having Gamora, Adam Warlock and Phyla-Vell available to capitalize is ideal. While it feels like there are too many Strikers on this team if you have both Gamora and Adam Warlock in the same Iso-8 class, I have found with my own gameplay that Phyla-Vell works very well as a Striker.
seems like this was left open for interpretation. Like Wide open. What’s the answer for the best class for her?
Thanks for the feedback. Made an update to the article and to Adam Warlock as well. Going to revisit Gamora ASAP. Hope this helps.
