In a period of heavy news and updates, Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes added even more new info yesterday as EA Capital Games announced the upcoming addition of Darth Talon to the game. But while the boost to the Sith, and specifically the Sith Triumvirate, is noteworthy, possibly even bigger news is the addition of an Omicron ability to Qui-Gon Jinn. Rumored to be awesome by a Beta tester who spilled the beans on Reddit earlier this week, the Qui-Gon Omicron update will impact the Grand Arena Championships with the following update on his Leader ability:
While in Grand Arena: Jedi allies instead gain Offense equal to 30 times their Speed, doubled while they have Foresight. At the start of battle if there are no Galactic Legends and all allies are Jedi, Jedi allies can’t be defeated if Qui-Gon Jinn is active. Qui-Gon Jinn can’t gain Damage Immunity or Stealth and he can’t be revived. When Qui-Gon Jinn is defeated, all Jedi allies recover 100% Health and Protection and gain 400% of Qui-Gon-Jinn’s Offense for 2 turns.
Also getting an Omicron added to her kit is Zam Wesell. The Bounty Hunter and Scoundrel will now live up to her “lightning fast” description in the Grand Arena as her Omicron text on her unique will now include:
While in Grand Arena: Zam instead gains 60% increases to her Offense, Max Health, and Max Protection. Zam gains 5% Speed for each other Bounty Hunter ally. Bounty Hunter allies gain 20% of Zam’s current Offense, Max Protection, Max Health, and Speed until the first time she is defeated.
As for Darth Talon, the Developer Insights and Kit Reveal have been posted on the SWGoH forums so you can feel free to read those for more details. Our mods guide for Darth Talon will be posted shortly as well as we expect to have her in-game this week.
