Welcome to the best mods for Saw Gerrera – the latest article in our series about the popular game Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes where we take a look at the best mod sets & stats for each SWGoH character. While I do not claim to have all of the answers in this game, I do my research and have used every character I write about extensively. These are mod recommendations and they are certainly not the only option. However we look to help players maximize their characters in SWGoH and we are always open to feedback if you have a mod setup that works well of your gameplay.

Today’s character to review mods for will be Saw Gerrera, the 5th of 5 new characters leading up to the release of Jedi Survivor. Labeled a Rebel Fighter and Light Side character in SWGoH, Saw Gerrera was a bit of a wild card for the rebellion, actually being seen as an extremist by many. Let’s take a look at which mods are best suited and which stats we want to enhance for Saw Gerrera in Galaxy of Heroes.

Main Focus: Reading through Saw Gerrera’s kit, three stats stick out right away – Speed, Health and Critical Damage. Since I am to label a specific “main focus” stat here I will go with Speed, the necessary evil of SWGoH, as Saw starts with a strong base Speed of 181 and gains Speed Up at the start of the encounter. As a result a set of four Speed mods seems like the best route to maximize his potential in the game.

Additional Areas to Focus: Health, Potency, Critical Chance, Critical Damage and Offense. As I mentioned above, Health and Critical Damage also jump off the page when reading through Saw’s kit as he has +30% Max Health and has Critical Damage boosts built in as well. Of course, when CD is recommended, added Offense and Critical Chance should follow. Potency is also recommended to apply Defense Down and Blind on his basic and special attacks but note that his base Potency is just 50% and he does not have any Potency boosts in his kit, so be mindful of who he is used with and how Potency is impacted, or just try to boost this stat through mod secondary stats.

In-game Mod Recommendations: Speed & Health. No disagreement here – everything we mentioned above fits this recommendation by the devs.

Ideal Mod Setup for SWGoH Saw Gerrera:

Saw Gerrera is a strong character and is designed to boost the Rebel Fighter faction in SWGoH, lifting character who are not used as much. As I look at Saw Gerrera’s stats and kit, I recommend the following mod approach:

• Transmitter (Square) – Speed mod with a primary focus on offense and a secondary focus on speed, health, critical chance and potency
• Receiver (Arrow) – Speed mod with a primary focus on speed and a secondary focus on health, critical chance, offense and potency
• Processor (Diamond) – Speed mod with a primary focus on defense and a secondary focus on speed, health, critical chance and potency
• Holo-Array (Triangle) – Speed mod with a primary focus on critical damage and a secondary focus on speed, health, critical chance and potency
• Data-Bus (Circle) – Health mod with a primary focus on health and a secondary focus on speed, health, critical chance and potency
• Multiplexer (Plus) – Health mod with a primary focus on health and a secondary focus on speed, health, critical chance and potency
