Welcome to the Iso-8 guide for Loki, the latest in our series about the popular game Marvel Strike Force. In this series we look at the best Iso-8 enhancements for MSF characters. While some may refer to Iso-8 as simply “mods” like in other mobile games, we will look to stay true to the naming convention of the Marvel universe and the developers over at Scopely. We at Gaming-fans.com certainly do not claim to have all of the answers in this game, but we do our research and look to use every hero and villain we write about extensively. These are Iso-8 recommendations based on the character’s kit and actual gameplay to help you in your quest to dominate in Marvel Strike Force. Note that these Iso-8 classes may differ from one team makeup to another, so feel free use this as guide knowing that these can change in differing situations within MSF’s gameplay.
Today’s character to review is Loki, a Villain, Cosmic, Mystic, Controller character and a member of the Asgardian and Bifrost factions. Let’s take a look at the stats we want to focus on enhancing through the Iso-8 modifications available in Marvel Strike Force.
Main Focus: There is little to get excited about with Loki’s base stats in MSF, however, this line from his God of Mischief unique ability changes things dramatically – “On Spawn, fill Speed Bar by 15%. Fill Speed Bar of Mystic Controller allies by 10%.” This is what makes his base Speed of 115 much, much more effective in-battle, and the Mystic Controller on the Bifrost team is Sylvie, meaning Loki and Sylvie get the first two turns of the battle. This makes their setup of each battle more important, and Loki’s Mind Control special can be a special way to start a battle, so adding Focus to him to start will work out well.
Ideal Iso-8 Class for Loki in Marvel Strike Force:
While Loki is not a standout character when it comes to stats, he does utilize the Mind Control special on enemies with added debuffs as the first to take a turn on the Bifrost team. As a result of this turn order and Sylvie’s turn coming right after, this 1-2 punch sets up well to have Loki as a Skirmisher and Sylvie as a Striker to allow for maximum effectiveness.
