The 10th mission of the Dark Dimension VI – Shifting Darkness has 26 enemies and 118 million health to work through. Like before, we now have specific groups to use, with Missions 9, 10 & 11 requiring City characters. My team available to start is Spider-Man (Big Time), Firestar, Scarlet Spider, Shang-Chi and She-Hulk as I continue the Gaming-fans.com Dark Dimension 6 Live Blogs & Walkthroughs. I will likely tough it out and use this group of five for all of the City battles and save the gear for the future Legendary characters needed.
I start off the 11th mission with my team of Spider-Man (Big Time), Firestar, Scarlet Spider, Shang-Chi and She-Hulk for a total of 1,877,127 power as I face 26 enemies with a total of 118m health. Firestar, Scarlet Spider, Shang-Chi and She-Hulk are at 7-red stars with Spider-Man (Big Time) at 5-stars, 5-red stars and all at least Iso-8, Level 2, Tier 4.
To the battle, 6 enemies greet me with some serious Mutant power. I get Defense Down on Dark Beast quickly and Slow 4 of the enemies with Firestar’s middle ability, then Shang-Chi hits them all with his AoE. I continue getting hits on Dark Beast to get him to about 55% health when Magneto Blinds the team. This is the beginning of the end as Dark Beast kills Scarlet Spider and only SMBT has an unavoidable attack, so my attacks are worthless other than SMBT. He gets 3 more basics, the last of which kills Dark Beast, as I end with 25 enemies left and 110m health to go.
Battle #2 started with 6 enemies again as Nemesis has joined the battle, and I shift focus to the right side where Nemesis, Colossus and Human Torch stand close to one another. SMBT and Firestar debuff that group and I take some hits, then She-Hulk Stuns the opposing Archangel just before they kill my Scarlet Spider. SMBT uses his ultimate which kills Human Torch as 24 remain and Colossus taunts to make things difficult. After several hits I finish off Colossus with SMBT and turn to Archangel who is one of two at 50% health. Two reinforcements arrive to put 6 on the screen against me, and I get him to low red health. The enemies then get 7 straight turns, the last of which heals Archangel to yellow health and kills my SMBT to end today’s run with 23 enemies and 95m health to go.
My 3rd battle starts with Defense Down on Magneto and Offense Down on Archangel, then Firestar slows four enemies in a group, the two aforementioned included. Shang-Chi and Scarlet Spider finish Magneto, then She-Hulk taunts, getting Archangel to red health. Luckily I do not waste it this time and SMBT uses a basic and the Iso-8 bonus attack finishes him off. Now 21 enemies remain and I have four on-screen so I go after Magik on the left side who is next to Cyclops. A SS ultimate removes the buffs from Nemesis on the other side and we trade hits. Nemesis heals the group and Cyclops uses an ultimate and ouch. I do end strong as SS and SMBT are my final two and SMBT lands several basics to kill both Cyclops and, eventually, Nemesis, before I get killed. 19 enemies and 81.2m health remain.
Battle #4 starts with 19 total enemies and just 2 on-screen in Cyclops and Psylocke, so I go right after Cyclops first, finishing him off and then Psylocke, careful the whole time to use as many basics as possible. Once they are down, at 17 enemies left the reinforcements arrive as 8 enemies are now on-screen. SS uses and ultimate which slows Ikaris but does not remove his Offense Up, then She-Hulk stuns Phoenix. A special from Firestar slows the group on the right and I get a Buff Immunity on Ms. Marvel then work her down. The enemies attack, thinning out my crew, but SMBT gets the attack needed to kill Ms. Marvel. My only fail on this was not getting Phoenix to go Dark as 16 enemies remain with 58.9m health.
My next battle I focus on getting Phoenix to go to Dark Phoenix and see if I can get rid of Ikaris. Using specials from SMBT and Firestar, I get Phoenix transitioned and fight through losing Firestar early and then She-Hulk, until I kill Ikaris as 15 remain. With a team unraveling, I place basics on Mister Fantastic until they kill me with 15 enemies and 53m health left.
Battle #6 sees SMBT and Firestar finish Mister Fantastic off in two turns as 13 remain (12 because Dark Phoenix does not revive, thus the 14th enemy). Now focusing on Nemesis, I land a Defense Down which helps speed up the process, but I take a lot of hits and lose Firestar. SMBT finally kills Nemesis and I have my four versus three on-screen enemies. After several turns I make a 4 v 2 as I kill off Magic, who was tough to get debuffs to stick to, as Emma Frost and Psylocke remain. I go all-in on Psylocke and I am too strong for her as 10 remain and I have a 4 v 1 on-screen against Emma. She turns out to be a pain, but I use all basics to kill her eventually as 9 enemies remain, and all of them show up for the final battle. At this point I taunt with She-Hulk and go all-in on Phoenix. The enemies get their turns and eventually kill She-Hulk and Scarlet Spider as I continue to try to weaken Phoenix and get her to her Dark Phoenix form before I die. I use all I have and a basic from SMBT gets her to red health, and she kills herself going Dark to accomplish the goal of not having to face her tomorrow. In the end 8 enemies technically remain (Dark Phoenix will not return) and 32.8m health is left.
My 7th battle stars with the final 8 enemies all on-screen as I look to finish this one out in the next few days. My first attempt starts with a focus on Human Torch, the weakest enemy left with about 70% health. I land a couple of hits and he takes a turn to heal up, then I get stuck behind a Ms. Marvel taunt. From here I make almost no progress and I back out and start again. This time I try going after Dark Beats and have mild success, but my failed stun of Colossus messes things up significantly. I try a 3rd time and cannot make any real progress either, so I try again hitting just Colossus and find that this battle is just going to be terrible, and any progress is a good thing. I eventually settle on a run that sees me place basics on the tanks, Ms. Marvel and Colossus, and use nothing but basics. In the end I get Ms. Marvel down to red health and while I do not get a kill, this was the best end result of my 10+ attempts today as 28.2m health remains.
Battle #8 sees me go all-in on Ms. Marvel to prevent her heal and while it take several hits, I kill her early as 7 enemies remain. She-Hulk then stuns Dark Beast and the weakest enemy, Human Torch, gains taunt as a result, so Firestar slows the enemies around him and I start attacking. SMBT gets him to red health but he heals back to 50%, but then my offense is too much and I kill him off the next time SMBT and First take a turn. Now 6 enemies remain and Dark Beast is my target. An AoE from Shang-Chi helps a bit, then DB hovers around 50% health for a bit before I get She-Hulk to taunt and SMBT to get a bigger hit in. With 5 enemies left Firestar uses her ultimate to debuff the enemies even more, then dies on the next enemy attack. I land some hits on Cyclops, but Sersi cleanses some of the debuffs and I lose She-Hulk.With a 3 v 5 now I land some hits on Magic with Defense Down, but she keeps healing back up before I get killed off by Sersi. 5 enemies and 20.1m health remains.
My 9th battle is hoping to be a setup for the win or the win itself. Facing the final 5 enemies, I Disrupt Colossus to start and work on Magik after landing debuffs on Silver Surfer. Sersi cleanses but Firestar slows 4 of 5 down, then Scarlet Spider uses his ultimate to slow Sersi as well as the debuffs start to stick. I start exploiting the Defense Down debuffs on enemies and take out Magik first, then work on Silver Surfer, getting him to yellow before Colossus taunts. Luckily I am able to get a Defense Down on Colossus and that allows for me to finish him off with all of my 5 still alive. I stun Sersi and then finish off SS and Cyclops, losing Firestar in the process. With a 4 v 1 Sersi holds her own, cleansing and healing midway through, but I am too strong and get the win and hit the button too quickly to see my reward.
