Welcome to the Iso-8 guide for X-23, the latest in our series about the popular game Marvel Strike Force. In this series we look at the best Iso-8 enhancements for MSF characters. While some may refer to Iso-8 as simply “mods” like in other mobile games, we will look to stay true to the naming convention of the Marvel universe and the developers over at Scopely. We at Gaming-fans.com certainly do not claim to have all of the answers in this game, but we do our research and look to use every hero and villain we write about extensively. These are Iso-8 recommendations based on the character’s kit and actual gameplay to help you in your quest to dominate in Marvel Strike Force. Note that these Iso-8 classes may differ from one team makeup to another, so feel free use this as guide knowing that these can change in differing situations within MSF’s gameplay.
Today’s character to review is X-23. A key member of the X-Force team, for the purposes of MSF, X-23 is a Hero, Global, Mutant, Brawler, Aspiring and a member of the X-Force and X-Men factions with really strange eyes in the game. Let’s take a look at the stats we want to focus on enhancing now that Iso-8 modifications have been added to Marvel Strike Force.
Main Focus: X-23 is an offensive character, so boosting her Damage and possibly her Critical Chance and Critical Damage, are where you want to focus your efforts. On War Offense she takes the 3rd turn on an X-Force team, while she takes the second turn in other game modes, and this allows her teammates to set the table and apply Vulnerable status effects so that X-23 can attack again and again. As a result I am adding more Damage and Health first with the Iso-8 modifiers.
Ideal Iso-8 Class for X-23 in Marvel Strike Force:
When putting the five X-Force characters in Marvel Strike Force together there are certainly several ways to use Iso-8, however the goal here is to use it as effectively as possible. I initially was leaning toward the Striker class when Iso-8 was first released and I see no reason to change that after using her extensively. Allow her X-Force teammates to set the table and apply Vulnerable and then X-23, who takes the 3rd turn on a team of all X-Force characters, can handle the attacks to set your plan in motion. Note that, as mentioned above, on War Offense she takes the 3rd turn on this team and the second turn in other game modes. However, whenever and enemy falls below 50% health, X-23’s speed bar fills by 40% which means she could take a second turn even before Cable, the last to attack on the X-Force team, gets his first turn.
