Potions in Harry Potter Wizards Unite are made from specifics ingredients and can be used to assist your attacks, heal your character and more. While ingredients are plentiful, finding the right ingredients can be quite tricky. 
HPWU has a plethora of opportunities to find ingredients, which are often around intersections and near common traffic areas with Foundables/Counfoundables, or sometimes in your back yard, and available from the month’s daily login calendar. Players will quickly fill to your maximum amount of ingredients which presents challenges depending on your play style. After this limit has been reached, players can either 1) buy more space for ingredients for 150 coins or 2) discard or throw away ingredients that are not needed. Buying additional space for ingredients ads 30 to your maximum amount with each purchase.
To buy more space for ingredients in HPWU, you can click on the green button when you try to gather another ingredient to pay 150 gold or go to your Suitcase > Vault > Ingredients (second icon at top, looks like a plat with leaves), then click the green plus icon.
To throw away or discard ingredients in Harry Potter: Wizards Unite, click on the Suitcase > Vault > Ingredients (second icon at top, looks like a plat with leaves), then the “info” button under the ingredient, then “manage” to delete some or all of those items.
