Welcome to the latest in our series of articles about the Transformers Earth Wars mobile game where we take a look at the best Power Cores for each TFEW bot. While our staff will never claim to have all of the answers for TFEW, we do our homework and test out each bot to ensure we are making only the best recommendations.

Skyburst and Onslaught seem misplaced in the Special Class. They clearly have the range, abilities, and DPS similar to that of a gunner, but their base attack is spread out over a small area. In fact, they would have the highest DPS in the class if they were within the gunner class. As a result of their grouping, the Line Barrage ability cannot be augmented with the Volatile Mixture core, which is a disappointment. So which core should be used on them?

Best Power Core for Skyburst & Onslaught:

Best Core: Prima Prime Core – The best core for these bots was the Attack Core back when this was first published, but a lot has changed in the two years since then. As Special Class bot, Skyburst and Onslaught are not eligible for Gunner cores, but when Prime Cores came along the Prima Prime Core quickly became a near perfect fit for these two. When the equipped bot used its basic attack, enemies/defensive buildings take a percentage of increased damage from all attacks for 5 seconds meaning the spread attack from Skyburst and Onslaught can impact several bots/structures at once. The Special Command – Attack core is another good option if you have this coveted Squad Core as it increases the bot’s health and increases the attack damage of all other Special Class bots on the screen.
