While our staff will never claim to have all of the answers for TFEW, we do our homework and test out each bot to ensure we are making only the best recommendations.

Hotspot and Tantrum are your first bots into the fray. Their ability attracts a lot of attention from the surrounding defenses and defensive bots. Also, they are the bots that are most likely to fall first, meaning that you need to prolong their life so that you can get the most use out of them! So which core will you choose?

Best Power Core for Hotspot & Tantrum:

Best Core: Vitality – The best core on these bots is the Vitality core for the simple reason that in general, these bots are the first to go down due to using their special, Reflective Shield. In order to benefit from the Rejuvination core (another alternative), Hotspot and Tantrum would have to survive more than 30 seconds to receive the equivalent benefit via this core, which is often not the case. Also, they are often hit by more than just Auto Cannons, so the Trithyllium plating usually is insufficient for their protection.
