SWGoH GameChangers: Jango Fett Set to (finally) Join Galaxy of Heroes & More

SWGoH - Jango Fett

While this is not breaking news now after a series of teasers over the weekend stole much the thunder of the SWGoH GameChangers‘ announcement, it has been confirmed that Jango Fett will be the next character added to Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes. Alongside the addition of Jango Fett, Zam Wesell is set to get a rework and Cad Bane’s ship, Xanadu Blood, will also be added to the game. The addition of Jango and rework of Zam has led to much discussion, including Smithie D’s thoughts that Padme Amidala will be added to SWGoH next in a Legendary event.

While the news of new characters is always of interest, the feedback from the community is clear as interest continues to wane given the long list of Marquee Events. The community continues to provide the feedback, so much so that popular GameChanger CubsFanHan released the hilarious Galaxy of Marquees music video in August which featured a cameo from AhnaldT101, Thad from GoingNerdy and our own Director of Content, LJ.

Jango Fett

UNIT NAME: Jango Fett
CATEGORIES: Scoundrel, Bounty Hunter, Attacker
Notorious Bounty Hunter that exploits debuffed foes by using Armor Shred and Burning

FINAL TEXT: Deal Physical damage to target enemy and gain 15% Offense for each enemy suffering a debuff during this attack. If the target enemy was suffering a debuff, Jango Fett attacks again.

Special 1: SHRAPNEL BLAST (Cooldown 3)
FINAL TEXT: Deal Physical damage to target enemy and to a random enemy. Inflict Healing Immunity and Stagger to target enemy for 2 turns.

Special 2: CONFLAGRATION (Cooldown 3)
FINAL TEXT: inflict Burning for 3 turns then deal Physical damage to all enemies. This attack can’t be Evaded. Target enemy loses 25% Max Health (stacking) if they were suffering a debuff. Raid Bosses: loses 10% Tenacity (stacking) if they were suffering a debuff.

FINAL TEXT: (ZETA) Scoundrel allies have +30 Speed and all enemies have -40% Tenacity. Enemies have -20% Potency for each debuff on all Bounty Hunter allies. Enemies that are suffering from Burning cannot gain bonus Turn Meter. Bounty Hunters gain +35% Offense when they have Bounty Hunter’s Resolve. When Jango Fett is in the Leader slot, and not the Ally slot, the following Contract is active:

Contract: Damage a debuffed enemy 20 times. (Only Bounty Hunter allies can contribute to the Contract.)
Reward: All Bounty Hunters gain Bounty Hunter’s Resolve at the start of their next turn and +25% Critical Chance. All Bounty Hunters have their Payouts activated.

FINAL TEXT: (ZETA) Jango Fett has +100% Defense Penetration and +50% Max Health. Enemies defeated on his turn cannot be Revived. At the start of battle, and whenever he defeats an enemy, Jango Fett recovers 100% Protection and gains Bounty Hunter’s Resolve until he is defeated.

Bounty Hunter’s Resolve: this unit ignores Taunts during their turn. When defeated, revive at 100% Health. Can’t be Dispelled or prevented.
Payout: Jango Fett gains Damage Immunity for 2 turns, which cannot be Dispelled or prevented, and +50% Offense.


Xanadu Blood

UNIT NAME: Xanadu Blood
CATEGORIES: Dark Side, Bounty Hunter, Scoundrel, Support
CREW: Cad Bane
Debilitating Bounty Hunter Support that shuts down enemy offenses

SWGoH - Xanadu BloodABILITIES:
FINAL TEXT: Deal Physical damage to target enemy with a 65% chance to attack again. Inflict Breach for 2 turns.

Special 1: ROGUE MANEUVER (Cooldown 3)
FINAL TEXT: Deal Physical damage to all enemies and inflict Target Lock on the weakest enemy for 2 turns. Then, call target ally to Assist.
Target Lock: Inflict Breach for 2 turns
Breach: -25% Speed, -25% Defense

Unique (crew): CLOAK AND DAGGER
FINAL TEXT: Xanadu gains Stealth for 1 turn at the start of the encounter and whenever another Scoundrel ally suffers a Critical Hit. Bounty Hunter allies deal bonus damage equal to 10% of the target’s Max Health when damaging Breached enemies. While Xanadu Blood is active, Breached enemies have -25% Offense.

Reinforcement: INTO THE BREACH
FINAL TEXT: Inflict Breach on target enemy for 2 turns, which can’t be Evaded or Resisted. Additionally, inflict Defense Down on all enemies for 2 turns, which can’t be Evaded. Grant all Scoundrel allies Retribution for 2 turns.


Zam Wesell

UNIT NAME: Zam Wesell
CATEGORIES: Attacker, Bounty Hunter, Scoundrel
Lightning fast Scoundrel attacker that inflicts Evasion Down and detonates bombs



FINAL TEXT: Deal Physical Damage to target enemy. All Thermal Detonators on the target explode, dealing damage immediately. If any Thermal Detonators explode, Zam gains 20% Turn Meter for each living Scoundrel ally.

Special 1: SEE WHAT STICKS (Cooldown 4)
FINAL TEXT: Place Thermal Detonators on all enemies that explode after 2 turns. Zam gains Speed Up for 3 turns.

Special 2: ELECTRO-GOGGLES (Cooldown 3)
FINAL TEXT: Inflict Evasion Down on all enemies for 4 turns and a Thermal Detonator on all enemies that already had a Thermal Detonator for 2 turns. Zam recovers 10% Protection for each enemy with Thermal Detonator. Zam gains 50% Turn Meter. This attack can’t be Evaded.

FINAL TEXT: At the start of battle, Zam gains:

  • 20% increase to her Offense for each Scoundrel Attacker ally
  • 20% increase to Max Protection for each Scoundrel Tank ally
  • 20% increase to Max Health for each Scoundrel Support and Healer ally.


FINAL TEXT: (ZETA) Bounty Hunter allies gain +25% Potency and recover 4% Health and Protection whenever an enemy is dealt damage by a Thermal Detonator. When a Bounty Hunter ally uses a Special ability, they inflict a Thermal Detonator on the selected target for 2 turns, which can’t be Evaded. When Zam Wesell is in the Leader slot, and not the Ally slot, the following Contract is active:

Contract: Inflict 20 bombs on enemies. (Only Bounty Hunter allies can contribute to the Contract.)

Reward: All Bounty Hunter now inflict Thermal Detonators on all enemies whenever they die, which can’t be Evaded. All Bounty Hunter allies have their Payouts activated.

Contract: ZAM’S PAYOUT

FINAL TEXT: Whenever Zam receives Rewards from a Contract, she also gains the following Payout. (Contracts are granted by certain Bounty Hunter Leader Abilities.)

Payout: Whenever an enemy takes damage from a Thermal Detonator, Zam has a 25% chance to dispel all debuffs on herself, she gains Stealth for 1 turn, and she gains 2% Max Protection until the end of the encounter.
