Welcome to the Iso-8 guide for Cable, the latest in our series about the popular game Marvel Strike Force. In this series we look at the best Iso-8 enhancements for MSF characters. While some may refer to Iso-8 as simply “mods” like in other mobile games, we will look to stay true to the naming convention of the Marvel universe and the developers over at Scopely. We at Gaming-fans.com certainly do not claim to have all of the answers in this game, but we do our research and look to use every hero and villain we write about extensively. These are Iso-8 recommendations based on the character’s kit and actual gameplay to help you in your quest to dominate in Marvel Strike Force. Note that these Iso-8 classes may differ from one team makeup to another, so feel free use this as guide knowing that these can change in differing situations within MSF’s gameplay.
Today’s character to review is Cable. One of the early additions to Marvel Strike Force, Deadpool is now a key member of the X-Force team, and for the purposes of MSF, X-23 is a Hero, Cosmic, Mutant, Blaster and a member of the X-Force faction. Let’s take a look at the stats we want to focus on enhancing now that Iso-8 modifications have been added to Marvel Strike Force.
Main Focus: Cable is an offensive character, so boosting his Damage is where you want to focus your efforts. On War Offense he takes the 5th and final turn on an X-Force team, so if his teammates have done a good job of setting the table with Vulnerable status effects on the enemies, he should be even more effective if used as a Striker with enhanced damage.
Ideal Iso-8 Class for Cable in Marvel Strike Force:
When putting the five X-Force characters in Marvel Strike Force together there are certainly several ways to use Iso-8, however the goal here is to use it as effectively as possible. I initially was leaning toward the Raider class when Iso-8 was first released, but the X-Force team does not have a fivesome that all fit into the expected five Iso-8 classes. Because Cable takes the last turn on this team and is a strong damage dealer, and the way the other X-Force characters fit in based on the turn order, I am using Cable as a Striker to take advantage of this setup. While I could see using him with other Iso-8 classes, I feel that Striker is a better fit than the others.
