MSF: Dark Dimension IV Walkthrough & Live Blog – Mission #4

Dark Dimension 4 - Mission 4

Dark Dimension IV: Embrace Your Doom is the ultimate endgame content in Marvel Strike Force in 2021, and I begin fighting it today after completing the 3rd mission in just two attacks. While I admit that this team (below) may not be an ideal team makeup for this game mode, I am going to live blog my daily attempts as I look to defeat the Dark Dimension and and unlock Doctor Doom.

My Dark Dimension IV: Embrace Your Doom eligible characters:

  • Namor – 161,533 power, Level 80, Gear 15, Ability Levels 7-7-7-5 – 7 Stars, 7 Red Stars – Iso-8 Striker, Level 4
  • Yellow Jacket – 131,388 power, Level 80, Gear 15, Ability Levels 7-7-7-5 – 6 Stars, 6 Red Stars – Iso-8 Striker, Level 4
  • Ghost – 124,822 power, Level 80, Gear 15, Ability Levels 7-7-7-5 – 6 Stars, 5 Red Stars – Iso-8 Skirmisher, Level 5
  • Stature – 107,366 power, Level 80, Gear 15, Ability Levels 6-7-7-5 – 7 Stars, 4 Red Stars – Iso-8 Healer, Level 5

Notes: I have Yellow Jacket as an Iso Striker over the Raider class I suggest in the best Iso-8 for Yellow Jacket article, and after the first two missions I have made the same change with Namor as well. Thanos is Gear 14 +5, so he will likely be the next eligible character on my roster and both Wasp and Ant-Man are major focuses needed 3 pieces of gear each.

Dark Dimension IV: Embrace Your Doom – Mission 4

04.03.21 – I begin Mission #4 after just two days of fighting Mission #3 and seeing tremendous success in the updates I made to the Iso-8 class of Yellow Jacket and Namor, making both Strikers. However this mission will take a while as it does not allow for the use of Legendary characters and I can only use Global characters to fight. Thus, my team looks like the above breakdown.

The boss on this mission is Captain Marvel as the 15 enemies have a total of 11.8m health. Captain Marvel and Pyro have the super serum for this battle (aka supercharged as I have been referring to them), and I start working on Magneto and Pyro, but I am stuck hitting Juggernaut early. Ronan summons a minion, but Namor is able to get off a AoE that finishes off Magneto. YJ takes out Pyro and then Juggernaut is down to make it 12/15 enemies. At this point I focus in on Captain Marvel and pick off the rest of the on-screen enemies. The second wave consists 6 enemies and Scientist Supreme is my early target to remove the revival chances. I take her out first, but the two SHIELD Troopers are proving to be a real pain. After taking out one of the two STs, reinforcements arrive at 7/15 with X-23 and two SHIELD Assault enemies. I get stuck hitting Colossus and the one ST keeps hitting me, and I lose Ghost just before killing Colossus. Now 6 enemies remain but I am falling apart, as I trade Namor for the SHIELD Trooper and then lose my final two, leaving 5 enemies and 2.1m health remaining.

04.04.21 – Back again with my foursome checking in at 528k, I am hoping to clear this board and have enough in the tank to put a good attack on Mission #5. The five enemies are a super serum Psylocke, a normal Psylocke, two SHIELD Assault and a Merc Lieutenant. The ML is in red health so I go after him first and finish him in two hits. Now the super serum Psylocke is my target as she is at about 50% health and the rest are 70% or higher, and after taking a few hits it is YJ’s special that finishes her off. Now 3 enemies remain and I pick off the weaker SA quickly and simply take out the other two for the win. My reward for completing the 4th Mission is 300k gold and 10k Gold Orb Fragments.
