Welcome to the Iso-8 guide for Kestrel, the latest in our series about the popular game Marvel Strike Force. In this series we look at the best Iso-8 enhancements for MSF characters. While some may refer to Iso-8 as simply “mods” like in other mobile games, we will look to stay true to the naming convention of the Marvel universe and the developers over at Scopely. We at Gaming-fans.com certainly do not claim to have all of the answers in this game, but we do our research and look to use every hero and villain we write about extensively. These are Iso-8 recommendations based on the character’s kit and actual gameplay to help you in your quest to dominate in Marvel Strike Force. Note that these Iso-8 classes may differ from one team makeup to another, so feel free use this as guide knowing that these can change in differing situations within MSF’s gameplay.
Today’s character to review is Kestrel. Kestrel is a Hero, Cosmic, Tech, Skill, Blaster and Voyager in Marvel Strike Force with no specific faction that she is tied to. Let’s take a look at the stats we want to focus on enhancing through Iso-8 modifications in MSF.
Main Focus: Damage, Focus & Health. Kestrel is a damage dealer with fantastic offensive stats, so focusing your Iso-8 efforts on additional damage will make her even more difficult to deal with for your opponents. Focus will help her land debuffs, and she is the queen of applying Defense Down, and her base Health stat is 11th highest in the game at the time of this writing, so this will help keep her alive and attacking.
Ideal Iso-8 Class for Kestrel in Marvel Strike Force:
Like almost every character in Marvel Strike Force, Iso-8 classes are based on the character’s kit and what team comps they are used with. Kestrel is a unique character that appears to be able to fit into a lot of team lineups despite a lack of faction-based synergy. Her roles as a Cosmic and Tech character are likely where she fits the best, and I suggest using her with at least one Cosmic character and/or Nick Fury to maximize her unique ability which grants her +20% Max Health and if Fury, +40% to him as well. Depending on your team make-up Kestrel fits the Striker class very well, but an argument could also be made for the Raider class to boost her CC and CD stats.
