Welcome to the Iso-8 guide for Spider-Punk, the latest in our series about the popular game Marvel Strike Force. In this series we look at the best Iso-8 enhancements for MSF characters. While some may refer to Iso-8 as simply “mods” like in other mobile games, we will look to stay true to the naming convention of the Marvel universe and the developers over at Scopely. We at Gaming-fans.com certainly do not claim to have all of the answers in this game, but we do our research and look to use every hero and villain we write about extensively. These are Iso-8 recommendations based on the character’s kit and actual gameplay to help you in your quest to dominate in Marvel Strike Force. Note that these Iso-8 classes may differ from one team makeup to another, so feel free use this as a guide knowing that these can change in differing situations within MSF’s gameplay.
Today’s character to review is Spider-Punk. One of the new additions in Marvel Strike Force, Spider-Punk was added after the addition of the Web-Warrior faction and is a Hero, City, Bio, Brawler who is a member of the Spider-Verse and Web-Warrior factions. Let’s take a look at the stats we want to focus on enhancing through Iso-8 modifications in Marvel Strike Force.
Main Focus: Spider-Punk is the slowest member of the Web-Warrior faction with a base Speed of 117, taking his first turn just after Scarlet Spider. The entire faction features mid-level Armor stats and moderate to strong Health with strong Damage, so the plan is to help them survive long enough to Evade and Heal up through Scarlet Spider’s unique and land crits to continue to stay viable. Spider-Punk is another high Dodge Chance character who can apply negative status effects and hit multiple enemies on his attacks, so Damage and Focus are the best areas to start with.
Ideal Iso-8 Class for Spider-Punk in Marvel Strike Force:
The Web Warrior team is a new kind of Dodge META for MSF. Basically, you’re banking on them evading attacks, gaining Speed Bar (Turn Meter) and Speed Up, then overwhelming the opponent with strong damage stats. Spider-Punk is a character who can apply negative status effects and hit multiple enemies on his attacks, and with the CC increases from his teammates and his unique, the Raider class once again feels like the best fit. That having been said, I could see this changing in time with more testing as the current recommendations are to have three Raider class characters in this faction, so I could see where more gameplay pushes Spider-Punk toward the Striker class in some game modes.
