SWGoH: Rise of the Empire – Phase 3 Neutral Combat Mission with Jabba the Hutt

SWGoH - Rise of the Empire Territory Battle

The newest Territory Battles are here as the Rise of the Empire Territory Battle was launched in December 2022. Unlike previous Territory Battles in SWGoH, the Rise of the Empire TB features Light Side, Dark Side and Neutral paths and Platoons are now called Operations.

The Rise of the Empire Territory Battle features six Phases which last 24 hours each. Each of the six Phases of the event has a Special Mission rewarding Mk III Guild Event Tokens in Phases 1, 4, 5 and 6 and Reva (Third Sister) shards in Phase 3.

The following is a Walkthrough of my experiences in Phase 3 that will be updated over time. Specifically, this covers the Neutral (middle) Combat Mission on Tatooine that requires Jabba the Hutt at Relic 7 or higher.

  • Boushh (Leia Organa) – Relic 7 – 30,871

  • Cad Bane – Relic 7 – 27,969 power

Phase 3 Neutral Combat Mission with Jabba the Hutt Battle Notes:

12.14.22 – For this battle I went with Cad Bane over Boba Fett so that Boba is available, if needed, in the Fennec Shand combat mission. I also upgraded Skiff Guard Lando from Relic 6 to Relic 7 for the mission.

The pirate enemies come out swinging and the Bruiser taunts, but I land a bunch of thermal detonators and am able to heal Krrsantan up after he takes a few hits, then I reach payout. The battle turns at this point and it is smooth sailing from here as the detonators go off and the enemies disappear one by one.

The second wave of enemies is led by Hondo Ohnaka who stays on-screen for about 2 seconds before I have the Rancor devour him. Krrsantan disarms an Enforcer, Jabba places Buff Immunity on the Bruiser and I spread the thermal detonators around and have Jabba cleanse the team. In the end it is another easy win as my investment into the Hutt Cartel continues to pay off, likely better than any team I have ever gone after early in SWGoH, and I score 341,250 Territory Points.

12.28.22 – My second time through on this battle went just like the first, only even smoother as I now have Boushh and SG Lando at Relic 8. This team is easily one of the best in the game to invest into so I recommend it as it makes these Combat Missions easy.
