Welcome to the Iso-8 guide for Sunfire, the latest in our series about the popular game Marvel Strike Force. In this series we look at the best Iso-8 enhancements for MSF characters. While some may refer to Iso-8 as simply “mods” like in other mobile games, we will look to stay true to the naming convention of the Marvel universe and the developers over at Scopely. We at Gaming-fans.com certainly do not claim to have all of the answers in this game, but we do our research and look to use every hero and villain we write about extensively. These are Iso-8 recommendations based on the character’s kit and actual gameplay to help you in your quest to dominate in Marvel Strike Force. Note that these Iso-8 classes may differ from one team makeup to another, so feel free use this as guide knowing that these can change in differing situations within MSF’s gameplay.
Today’s character to review is Sunfire, a Mutant in the Unlimited X-Men faction who works alongside Fantomex, Gambit, Dazzler and Legendary character, Rogue. Sunfire is a Hero, Global, Mutant, Blaster character and a member of the aforementioned Unlimited X-Men faction, one of the factions needed to unlock Apocalypse. Let’s take a look at the stats we want to focus on enhancing through the Iso-8 modifications available in Marvel Strike Force.
Main Focus: With the full Unlimited X-Men in-game, we have a better idea of how to use Iso-8 on these characters. Sunfire is an offensive character who grants himself and all allies Offense Up and Counter with his Solar Flare special, and he gains Offense Up on spawn in Crucible. He also has a strong AoE that can apply Defense Down on enemies, so I would look to first boost his Damage and Focus to ensure these abilities are used efficiently.
Ideal Iso-8 Class for Sunfire in Marvel Strike Force:
The Unlimited X-Men faction, as suggested by the MSF.gg bot and this site, is a 3 Raider, 2 Striker faction for Iso-8. While this is not my typical way to do things, it seems to work nicely for this group. Given Fantomex, Gambit and Dazzler are all recommended to be Raiders, this means Rogue needs a friend to help on the Damage side of things, and Sunfire is the right character for the job. Make Sunfire a Striker for even more Offense and more attacks and reap the benefits in-game.
