Jedi Survivor Boss Fight: How to beat Dagan Gera in Jedi Grand Master mode

Star Wars: Jedi Survivor is now live and the game is proving to be a hit just like its predecessor, Fallen Order. The game follows Cal Kestis just as before as you face a series of battles, puzzles and crazy terrain and exploration as you work your way through the Star Wars Galaxy on this latest quest. As we progress through the game you will face several boss fights and we will look to detail each in this series of articles on Star Wars: Jedi Survivor.

The fourth boss fight in the game is against a Dagan Gera, who you fight at Koboh’s Forest Array Rehabilitation Wing, the character I call the #OneArmedJedi. This is the first time you face this enemy and this comes after you free him from the bacta tank. After beating Dagan Gera and completing the entire Jedi Survivor journey on our first time through the game, Mustafar Nathan and I are playing Jedi Survivor a second time through to detail these boss fights, on the Jedi Grand Master mode, to better help players like you win. We have these set to the Jedi Grand Master mode simply because we figure that if we can give you details at the game’s difficulty, other battles will be much easier. While we do not do the YouTube videos to supplement these articles at this time, we know that many simply want a “how to” article with the details of how to win the battle.

Reminder, this is for the first time you face this enemy and this comes after you free Dagan Gera from the bacta tank.

Fighting Dagan Gera at Koboh’s Forest Array Rehabilitation Wing (First Battle)

Using the dual blade lightsabers is the fastest option and does most damage at this point, so it is recommended. Being aggressive seems to be the right approach as it will help knock his block meter down.

Parrying is very hard in Jedi Grand Master mode, but it also depletes his block meter very quickly.

Hit in quick successions until Dagan Gera’s block meter is depleted to get a shot at his health bar.

Dodge his red attacks at all cost or you will regret it in Jedi Grand Master mode.

If he lands a successful strike, his block meter will regenerate a bit – it also regenerates slowly over time.
