SWGoH: Rise of the Empire – Phase 5 Light Side Fleet Combat Mission

Rise of the Empire Territory Battle - Phase 5 Fleet - SWGoH

The Rise of the Empire Territory Battle is now into Phase 5 as we advance to the Ring of Kafrene. Unlike previous Territory Battles in SWGoH, the Rise of the Empire TB in Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes features Light Side, Dark Side and Neutral paths and Platoons are now called Operations. On top of that, using a character in Operations requires a minimum Relic level which adds a real wrinkle into the plans for each guild’s Territory Battles lead.

The Rise of the Empire Territory Battle features six Phases which last 24 hours each. Most of the six Phases of the event have a Special Mission rewarding Mk III Guild Event Tokens – in Phases 1, 4, 5 and 6 and Reva (Third Sister) shards in Phase 3.

The following is a Walkthrough of my experiences in Phase 5 that will be updated over time. This Phase 5 Fleet Combat Mission on the Light Side takes place at the Ring of Kafrene and requires 7-star ships and the reward for winning is 1,443,488 Territory Points.

Phase 3 Fleet Combat Mission Requirements:

  • 7-star ships

My Roster of Ships:

  • Total Power – 607k
  • Profundity – 89,409 power
  • Rebel Y-wing – 45,142 power
  • Han’s Millennium Falcon – 97,882 power
  • Outrider – 81,171 power
  • Reinforcements: Phantom II, Cassia’s U-Wing, Big Darklighter’s X-Wing & Raven’s Claw

Phase 5 Light Side Fleet Combat Mission at Ring of Kafrene Battle Notes:

08.13.23 – Facing an Imperial Fleet with the TIE Advanced x1, Scythe, a piloted TIE Fighter and the two Scythe summons, I go all-in on Vader’s ship and get it to yellow health before the enemies take another turn. They weaken my Y-Wing and I am forced to target their summoned TIEs and kill both, then us The Rebel Fleet Has Arrived to keep my Y-Wing alive and finish off Vader’s TIE Advanced. I move to Assault Formation and call in the Phantom II to ensure I have another reinforcement ready next Profundity turn, and Han’s MilF grants Advantage. The enemies call in the TIE/IN Interceptor Prototype, and it is my turn to go back on the offensive. Seeing 17 stacks of Formation on the Scythe I use the Y-Wing’s special to dispel the buff, and then lose my Y-Wing on the next attack. I call in Casein’s U-Wing for another round of dispels and go all-in on the TIE Interceptor, killing it with Han’s MilF. I start working down the TIE Fighter and the Outrider heals and speed the group up, and the MilF wiggles to ensure nothing crazy happens. Now dow to just the Scythe and MilF, I once again go with Assault Formation and use the Profundity’s Unconventional Maneuver special and select MilF to target the TIE Fighter and he is down to yellow health. A few more hits gets the TIE to red, then a new TIE is brought in as a reinforcement.

The Outrider is now up as I have a 4 v 3 matchup at the moment, and the Data Transmission ability is available, so that is the obvious choice. I target the weaker TIE and finish him off with the Phantom II, then start in on the Scythe. The Profundity lures the enemy Capital Ship away and this one is looking good. From here I just go all-in on the Scythe until it is down and finish off the TIE Fighter for the 1,443,488 Territory Points.
