5A to 6E Slicing
When a 5A mod is sliced to 6E, the primary and secondary stats will see a definite increase. A 5A-to-6E “multiplier” is applied to the mod’s secondary stats by adding the multiplier to the stat.
The primaries will increase as noted here. The below table provides the different secondary stat multipliers:
5A to 6E | Multiplier |
---|---|
Crit Chance | 4% |
Defense | 63% |
Defense % | 134% |
Health | 26% |
Health % | 86% |
Offense | 10% |
Offense % | 202% |
Potency % | 33% |
Protection | 11% |
Protection % | 33% |
Speed | 3% |
Tenacity % | 33% |
There are two ways of looking at the math behind this:
- Option 1
- Mod 5A has +500 Health and is sliced to Mod 6E
- (500 Health * 26% 6E multiplier) + 500 Health = 630 Health 6E mod
- 500 * .26 = 130 then 130 + 500 = 630
- Option 2
- Mod 5A has +500 Health
- 500 Health * 126% 6E multiplier = 630 Health 6E mod
- 500 * 1.26 = 630
This is the case with both flat stats and percentage based stats:
- Option 1
- Mod 5A has 3% Health and is sliced to Mod 6E
- (3% Health * 86% 6E multiplier) + 3% Health = 5.58% Health 6E mod
- 3% * 86% = 2.58%, then 2.58% + 3% = 5.58%
- Option 2
- 3% Health * 186% 6E multiplier = 5.58% Health 6E mod
- 3% * 186% = 5.58%
