SWGoH 101 Mod Guide: Farming Quick Tips

Farming Quick Tips

The best way to ensure that your characters have the best mods available is to have a thorough understanding of all Dots, Levels, Colors, Shapes, Sets, Primary Stats, and Secondary Stats.

Be sure to take the time to review all sections of this guide.

TL;DR Quick Tips

  • Only sim/battle from the Mod Challenges
  • Sim from only the highest mod challenge tier available; don’t sim Tier I if you’ve got Tier II or III available
  • Complete the Health and Defense challenges and 3-star their Tier III challenges to open more mods in the Mod Store
  • Save credits by only buying colored and 5* mods (Tiers 5E-5A) with the Speed secondary showing
  • When in doubt, the Protection primary stat can be useful for just about any character

Dos and Don’ts

  • Do create matching mods sets where possible for set bonuses
  • Don’t be tempted to farm from Tier I or Tier II challenges. The trade-off isn’t useful in the end.
  • Don’t get discouraged by the lack of Speed secondaries; this is the longest grind of the game
  • Do plan to spend at least 3 consecutive weeks farming only mods to get a good set of quality mods for a full Arena team
  • Do assign all mods with Speed secondaries and all Speed arrows to characters so that they will show up on swgoh.gg
  • Don’t waste resources slicing mods with mediocre stats or stats that won’t see a large increase

Still Struggling?
