SWGoH: Best Mods for Clone Sergeant – Phase I

Welcome the latest in our series about the popular game Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes where we take a look at the best mods for individual SWGoH toons. While I do not claim to have all of the answers in this game, I do my research and have used every toon I write about extensively. For the Clone segment of the best mods articles, my Guildmate Adelka has been kind enough to offer his thoughts and what has worked for him.

Clone Sergeant Mods - SWGoHToday’s toon to review mods for will be Clone Sergeant – Phase I, an often-overlooked toon who has suddenly burst on the scene as a valuable member of the Clone team. Used correctly, the Clone Sergeant can prove to be a very valuable member of your AAT or Heroic AAT team for Phase 2 or Phase 4.

Main Focus: Clone Sergeant is in place to be one of the top attackers on your Clone team, so Offense and Critical Damage are the main areas to focus on.

Additional Areas to Focus: Critical Chance is of course key given the main focuses are offense and CD, and while speed is important on almost every toon, whenever Clone Sergeant scores a critical hit he gains 50% turn meter so speed if not as necessary. If used correctly with Leia and her CC buff he will rarely NOT get a critical hit when used against the AAT/HAAT and will score massive damage.

Ideal Mod Setup for SWGoH Clone Sergeant:

  • Transmitter (Square) – Critical Damage mod with focus on offense and secondary focus on potency and critical chance
  • Receiver (Arrow) – Critical Damage mod with focus on offense and secondary focus on potency and critical chance
  • Processor (Diamond) – Critical Damage mod with focus on defense and secondary focus on potency and critical chance
  • Holo-Array (Triangle) – Critical Chance mod with critical damage +36%
  • Data-Bus (Circle) – Critical Damage mod with focus on protection and secondary focus on potency and critical chance
  • Multiplexer (Plus) – Critical Chance mod with focus on offense and secondary focus on potency and critical chance

Note: Transmitter, Processor and Data-Bus mods are MUCH more common. If you can maximize the stats from these using a MK V, Tier A mod that is ideal.
